On July 18, 2019 I and my daughter called Flowers Hospital to cancel an appointment for my wife speaking with central scheduling 334-794-**** the person that answer didn't give her name but after I told her I needed to reschedule my wife appointment ask her date of birth and I gave her the information them replied you act like me didn't tell you what appointments she had when someone talked to you in June. I replied I didn't say I didn't know just couldn't remember what the appointment was for.

I have some dementia and my wife has also along with Migraine headache and memory loss and we can't remember everything. Then I spoke with her supervisor Melissa who was just as nasty, rude, appalling, unconcern, disrespectful, presumptuous and a egotistical attitude herself and it told why the worker act the way she did towards the patient by seeing who she is led by the example of her supervisor Melissa. These are people whom we entrust our personal information as well as our life's to just too be talked and down graded totally disrespect by that workers at an hospital that suppose to be very professional and equitable of handling any type sustainability that comes their way. Melissa has no principles or respect for patient nor the worker who address us with ( you act like you don't know what you coming for what your appointment is for ain't nobody told you)?

Unprofessional Improper English/Grammar Hostile and Ill-bred to work in a hospital with patient. My wife is a new patient and now afraid to return back to Flowers Hospital not knowing what treatment she'll get.

so now we have to drive three and a half hours back to Birmingham to see a doctor for her care and needs! A very sad situation and no telling how many patients has had this experience and haven't spoke up and I'm sure this has happen before.
