We are fighting climate change and moving to less dependency on fossil fuels in the USA. We have done our part in adding renewable power.
FPL takes the clean KWH We make and sells it to an immediate neighbor, when we produce more power than we are currently using. Costs FPL literally nothing, and is efficient and clean: goals they proclaim they are doing. You can see we are paying 270% great bill the last 2 months, but used 0 KWH. How could you approve such an increase for smart consumers?
You are part of the problem in inflation harming our economy. FPL makes money on our account for well over 7 months, and always we pay a subscriber fee of over $9, just to get a bill. This is all done digitally via our meter & billing software. They have almost 0 expense.
270% rate increase?
Recind the $25 minimum billing!
And this is on top of the rating increases we have already had and we'll have later this year, which we are paying without complaint.
We should al least be grandfathered in for former fees ( which were also increased the last years. My friends who have done solar PV are outraged and are 10 others echoing this complaint with me.
You have not supported these monopolies providing anything other than basic attic insulation. They used to do things like blower door duct testing and more consulting and information to customers to accomplish real physical changes to homes and office.
Like radiant barrier information. They have gotten rid of all the employees who do this over the last decade.
- Minimum bill 25 when use 0 kwh at for several months a year
Preferred solution: Price reduction
User's recommendation: Vote in a governor who can put in a true public servant. Gov. *** Scott put all these clowns into this commission. They are all cronies from the fossil fuel industry. None seem to be interested in Florida customers
