Don’t waste your money
- - Motor did not work and was worse than a small trolling motor.
- - Refund was only $97 of $250 after testing and adding gas, and the service was poor.
Don’t waste your money. I had high hopes of having a small outboard motor and it did not work worth a crap.
I have a small 8 foot pond prowler bass boat and purchased one of these motors. My small battery operated trolling motor moved my boat more efficiently than this hunk of junk that I bought from Florida outboard motors. I really wanted a gas powered outboard motor to go from fishing hole to fishing hole with some type quickness, but this motor wasn’t doing even close to the job that I expected or saw on their website.
When I return the motor I only received $97 out of $250 of a refund because I had tested the motor and introduced gas into the system. All I can do is warn people not to buy anything from Florida outboard motors because their product is awful as is their customer service!!

You need a 6hp or 10hp motor for your boat, I don't think 2hpwill do much for your heavy boat just saying.
