To report a problem with the product I bought

After little use the Florabestcordless pole pruner FALH 40 Li A1 makes a whining noise and stops cutting

User's recommendation: The problem was dealt with. I have been told I will receive a replacement product. That is good service I think.

Disappointed

Zero response from Florabest. Very disappointed as I will have to dispose of my grass trimmer which works perfectly well but is unusable due to requiring a blade holding disc which has snapped.

User's recommendation: Impossible to buy replacement parts from this company.

Cordless pole pruner

I have your cordless pole pruner which had a 2 year warranty. Hardly used it as used only the bottle of chain oil supplied and re-filled with quality chain oil I use for my chain saw. I contacted Lidl where i purchased it and they said that after a year the warranty reverts to the importer/manufacturer. Because of covid I was unable to deal with the warranty in a timely manner. The problem is it stopped working. I recharged the battery and refitted it and still it would not work. I opened up the handle only to find the circuit board had fried and the metal overlay was partially peeled. There is obviously a problem with the circuit board design, either thermal cutout is not installed or is defective/needing a heat sink on the board. Either way I have a very good tool for occasionally cutting out of reach branches but with a design defect. Has there been a revision to board since the pruner was sold via LIdl. If there is, I am happy and able to solder it in myself if you can provide it, rather than return the pruner for replacement. Please let me know how we can proceed with this. I have other Florabest products which have given no trouble at all and found them to be good tools. Maybe I am just unlucky with the pruner and something simply related to a defective component or dry solder joint was the problem. It did start working after I prodded the circuit board with my electrical tester to check battery voltage was getting to the circuit board but I am hesitant to use it in this state.

Can't connect with anyone in customer service. I bought a defective product and still have the receipt

Some technician I know nothing about pops up on your page and requests my private information with payment. I need to chat with your Customer service

Greenhouse cover

I bought mine on the 5th April 2015 according to my receipt. If anything has a guarantee, then I fill in the form supplied, keep a copy and the receipt. If there is no form, then I simply keep the receipt for the length of the guarantee. We had some very strong winds in 2016 which ripped the cover very badly. I got in touch with Lidl in Scotland who put me in touch with Optimex services in Germany. I e-mailed them and this was followed up by them forwarding a new cover free of charge. Unfortunately they misheard the postcode so it was sent somewhere else. I contacted them, they apologized and sent another. The other turned up later and I reported this to Lidl who said keep it. I now have need of another new cover and couldn't order from Optimex because they have problems supplying in the Uk (which they are trying to sort out). However they will send me one FREE OF CHARGE as a gesture of goodwill in the next couple of weeks. I think that is great! M.A Clarke

Last time I used my Barbecue in Portugal, there is a piece of plastic which retains the Four AA Batteries. There are 2 lugs on this piece of plastic but unfortunately they have broken off through use. The plastic, because it is at the bottom of the Barbecue, the force of gravity allows the batteries away from their working position thereby stopping the Fan from working, and the Barbecue. Do you think you please, you could send me a replacement piece of plastic so my Barbecue will function properly. Thank you, Andy Consterdine, {{REDACTED}}
