Lies.
On February 14, 2017, I have ordered brand new S class. The dealer fooled me that they have the brand new car at the different dealership.
I have paid for the car without seeing it. I have had trust in the dealer. They told me that the car is brand new and was just standing in the other dealership's showroom. This was a gift for my wife on the Valentines Day.
They brought the car, however, there was trash inside tha car. The car was heavely used. Unbelievable smell of smoking in the car, some ladies hair laying on the back seat. So, I was shocked.
I had to return the car. This can never be a gift like that.
As a result, they made me to loose 80,000 dollars in the process of buying and selling in one day. I am never coming back.

Driver seat cover cracking and seems opening
Mercedes 350E 2011 . The driver seat cover is cracking.
The seams are opening. I discovered that the seat cover is razor thin and consequently easy to crack. Mercedes estimated the repairs at $805.00. Offered goodwill discount of $44 on parts, for a final estimate of $761.00.
Invoice attached. I expect MBNA to do the repairs for free and stand up behind their advertising. Mercedes has videos on youtube.com advertising how they build the 350E with the highest standards; that they try these seats with dummies over 250,000 times to make sure they last. I have barely gone in and out of my car more than 12,000 times.
Quality of Mercedes manufacture is no longer what it was.
Friends are happier with their Lexus, Japanese and Korean cars. I have been buying Mercedes for 60 years, and now I have to switch to a Japanese car to get the quality that I once expected from a German car!

Sales Fraud / Dis-honest Sales advisors
I went into what I thought was a very reputable dealer and found quite the opposite. I was downsizing from a S400 to a new 2017 E300.
I wwnt in with a list of items that I wanted on the car and was told by one sales person that all my request could be met. I was given a different sales person because the first person I spoke with (A very professional gentleman) was assisting another individual. The person I was given proceeded to tell me that they didn't have the car with the trim I wanted in stock and then told me that what I wanted was not even available in the trim I asked for. I told him that it was on the web site with that trim and that all the reviews for test drives had that trim.
He again told me that it was not available in the E300 model and it could not even be ordered. I figured that a Mercedes Benz dealer would not mislead me so I settled for something less given his detailed explanation. I have since found out that the trim I requested was available and I was defrauded by a sales person that only wanted to sell their inventory. I contacted the management at Fletcher Jones Motorcars in Newport Beach only to be treated like trash.
I suggested a very suitable solution to the issue and I was not only stonewalled but I was told that they did nothing wrong and basically Too Bad, live with it. My next step is to contact MBUSA and then my attorney. I am so shocked that a dealer of this type that advertises that the "Customer is First" would lower themselves to DE-fraud a customer just to make a sale. I do like the car however this dealer should not in any way represent the Mercedes Brand, it has done nothing but cheapen the good name of Mercedes.
They are extremely nice during the sales process and then they not only turn their back on their customers they treat them like a common liar and try to make themselves look honest. PLEASE before you go to Fletcher Jones MotorCARS in Newport Beach do your self a favor and look at other dealers.
I dealt with a dealer in Northern California and they were not only honest they bent over backwards to treat me like a valued customer. Fletcher Jones will do anything to make a sale include make fraudulent claims regarding their vehicles...

Preferred solution: I have provided a solution already that they have turned down via their sales person, Management did not even have the courage or professionalism to contact me directly.
Worse Car Buying Experience Ever
I purchased a new AMG GLE63 S Coupe on February 11, 2017. It is the worse car buying experience in my life.
The ordering and timely delivery of the car were fine. Documentation was a horror. Four months later, I am still trying to resolve the endless problems it caused. First, I felt like I was being treated like a criminal.
Despite a 800-plus credit report, 90K cash downpayment on a $135K car with the rest provided by non-MB outside financing, they required four ID's, plus they fingerprinted me. I am not even sure that is legal. I also had to answer all my secret security questions from the credit agengy they checked. Which incidentally MB and Fletcher Jones pulled four hard inquires on my credit, which gave it a ding.
They insisted on using the "garaged address" on everything even though only one box on the forms required it. They even put it in boxes marked "mailing address" which for me is different. I am still trying to sort that out as it is a huge inconvenience for me to have to collect mail sent to that address and file change of address forms. I am now discovering somehow an old address in Florida I haven't been associated with for over three years and actually never got mail at was also put into the MB system.
I never discussed that address with Fletcher Jones or MB so what they did I do not know. They totally misrepresented the Ding Shield Service Plan which they sold me. At the time of purchase, I specifically requested that amount be placed on my Visa card and I authorized the charge for that purpose. Fortunately, I recognized the fraud and cancelled the policy on February 28, 2017.
Not hearing from them, I opened a dispute with my credit card. After considerable argument, they finally agreed on June 13, 2017 to refund the money. This is 3 1/2 months later. The Ding Shield contract specifically states refund will be made within 60 days of cancellation.
To further make matters worse, they insist it was not a separate transaction and refund will be made to the financing bank, not my Visa card, in another six to eight weeks. It appears from what my Visa card told me, they provided them with different documentation with my signature on it that is different from the original document I have. That entire transaction was and continues to be a fraud in my opinion and given the length a time issuing a refund, a violation of state rules concerning these matters. I called the lending institution about this, and they agreed with me.
The refund belongs to me and not them and they are unaware of anything that requires Fletcher Jones to refund the money to them rather than me or my credit card. I have to conclude from all the information I have that they are doing this just to inconvenience me as much as possible. They are that juvenile. Not only this, but they actually insulted me.
I am a 100% service-disabled veteran. I have always gotten some token military discount on a car purchase from the brand and dealership to show their respect and gratitude for my limping around for 50 years from serving this country. When I asked about some discount, they actually laughed. Saying, "Are you kidding.
We don't even get a discount." Yep, that is what they told me while laughing. The people here are an ill-mannered, self-important, self-serving, arrogant bunch wanting only your money. They are a large dealership with a good inventory you probably won't find elsewhere.
What I recommend is you go here to check and test drive the car you are thinking of buying, then order it elsewhere. Given my experience, inconvenience, and fraud I am having to deal with, I cannot recommend anyone get involved with this horror of a dealership.
- Failure to refund money owed
- Failure to adhere to terms of the service contract
- Documentation and delivery

No Sales Integrity They do any tricks to sale you a car even if they have to cheat you
No Integrity they promise you something then they put on the contract something else they keep you on Purpose in their office until you get tired, Typically for Four hours then they send you to Finance Guy, that with out any explanation ask you to initial here and sign here, since by that time you are tired you do the signing without paying attention to the Figures, Because they rush you in Finance office. Then when you go home to relax and take look at the contract you will find out that they have Cheated you!
And next day when you go there to Corrected ther show you Poster that there is no cooling-down Period in California that means you can not correct the contract or Back of from the Deal and they say didn't you read the contract since you signed that there is nothing they can do. When you show them website from Mercedes Benz America that has special pricing and Leasing rate they say it does not Apply to them

Degraded and Provided No Service
I rarely bother to spend time to write negative reviews, and try my best to take the high-road, however after the past two weeks dealing with your Newport Dealership, I can no longer stand back and say nothing as a women being treated so poorly. I was so excited after buying my first Mercedes and after taking it for a service visit, I was shocked at how unprofessionally my situation has been handled.
I was taken back to the 50's when women were barefoot and pregnant and talked to like a five year old. It was not until my husband showed up something was done. The service consultant told me he was ashamed at how poorly my situation had been handled. Today I once again showed up hoping to pick up my car and was instead presented a barrage of excuses and finger pointing (conveniently people who were gone for the day).
As I walked out of the dealership another women stopped me to let me know she witnessed the way I was being treated and had a similar experience. Saying Im disappointed is an under statement. I have referred many of my clients to this dealer as its down the street from my office. After what I have gone through (and still am) I will never step foot in there again.
I have no idea what they define "good service" as but the standards are low. Its unfortunate they dont seem to care enough to even attempt to help you, instead I had to come up with solutions and escalate things to try to get my situation dealt with. Today was the final straw for me, as I finally realized this is just how they operate. The first time, I let it go, the second time I was frustrated but helped think through a solution (even though it totally inconvenienced me) today was just complete carelessness and an example of a dealership operating off old school principles.
I should not have to get my husband involved to be taken seriously. I have had multiple people pull me aside and personally apologize and yet my situation is still unresolved and Im left holding the bag. Unacceptable on every possible level.
If you are a women I highly advise you not to service your car here.
It been the most degrading experience of my life. I finally started documenting all of this after speaking with an attorney, so If you do end up going document it all!
Fletcher Jones Motorcars - Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Review from Corona, California
I bought a Sprinter from Fletcher Jones Motocars in Newpprt Beach California
The sale people and customer service is horrible and the car had leaking from rooftop.

They are big liers, specially their customer service manager Scott and sale manager Moghaddam.
Fletcher Jones Mercedes Motor Cars
in April I decided to buy an SL550 Mercedes. Its a car I always wanted.
So I saw the commercial for Fletcher Jones Mercedes. I went down to the lot in Newport Beach California. I was attacked by 2 sales Hot shots. Usually only one snake oil sales man attacks you when you by a car at Fletcher Jones I got 2.
I was so Hard sold that even though I already made my mind up to by an SL 550 I almost changed my mind because of the hard pressure sales tactics I received. Well once I got these 2 guys to shut up and just let me buy the car I got on with it. Well I have to admite I was very excited about my new Mercedes benz.... Well at least for the first 3 months anyway.
Since then I have had my car in the shop 14 times. everytime the told me it was fixed only to find out I needed to go back to there pain in the you know what service department who by the bay are bigger stroke artists then the sales guys. Go figure, I just got my transmission fixed for the 5th time I will probably be back again with in the next month if problems continue as the track record indicates.
I want to burn my mercedes at this point. Im Pissed off.
Fletcher Jones Mercedes service Newport Beach scratches car
Fletcher Jones Mercedes service in Newport Beach scratched my car stereo during a service call and refused to take responsibility for it. I made the mistake of having them check my stereo since it sometime would go mute for no reasons.
They didn't fix anything regarding it, but instead they lied several times to me during my complaint call to the service manager, Mike Schmidt.
The scratches consisted of 2 nasty scratches right across the front console of the stereo, so each time I sit in my car I see it. Go somewhere else to buy your car or get your car service since Fletcher Jones Newport Beach, CA doesn't respect your car or you, the customer.

I also have a E 350 that has the same split in the seam of the drivers seat. It was purchased certified pre-owned and I still an existing warranty and the dealer says it is not covered. I am contacting Mercedes today.
