I had my white GMC truck stolen from the top floor of the self-parking garage at Flamingo Las Vegas during my stay from May 23 to May 26. We chose self-parking because the hotel charged over $150 per day for valet.
I reported the theft to the police.
I am extremely upset by the complete lack of security: the parking was poorly lit, had open access, and no staff presence. After this happened, I learned this is not the first time cars have been stolen from that garage.
The hotel doesnt warn guests about these risks but has signs saying they take no responsibility.
This is unacceptable. Im very disappointed and expect a serious response and real changes.
Horrible customer service, outdated, horrible lobby manager.
Paid $60 for early check in...Kiosk were not working and waited in line for over 45 min. Manager did not care and she told me she was too busy to help.
Will be calling BBB tomorrow. NEVER go there again.
Flamingo Hotel is a dump and should be leveled.

The staff presence is the valet attendant. He gets the car from the well-lit, gated lot with a security guard. That’s why it’s $150/day and you (and I) park in the visibly-apparent alternative with none of these.
It’s unfortunate it was stolen but you can’t blame the hotel.
