Five Star Fairings

I placed an order on April 10th for a custom painted fairing kit for my Honda f4i and was assured I would receive a photo proof of the product before it shipped so I could approve it and would receive the finished product within 7 - 10 business days. This window came and went and I received no email or phone call communication from Five Star Fairings.

After several attempts of contacting the company and several more days later I finally reached someone who informed me that the wrong fairings had been painted and that they were redoing the order. I told them I understood mistakes happen but would have appreciated a call or update from them for the $711 order I prepaid and had expected to receive by now. I was again assured I would receive a photo proof to approve before shipping, a shipping confirmation once shipped and would receive the product within 7- 10 business days. This window again came and went and I again made several more failed attempts to reach someone at Five Star Fairings.

After finally reaching someone who claimed to be the manager named Matt Ferris, he proceeded to make more excuses as to why i had not received the items, informed me that I am not in there target demographic of customers and basically did no seem to care that his customer was extremely dissatisfied. To my surprise because I never received a shipping confirmation, I finally received the fairings on May 29th, almost 2 months later only to discover that they had still managed to get one of the pieces wrong and it did not fit my bike! So i again contact the company and am assured once again that I will receive a photo proof, shipping confirmation and the correct piece within 7-10 business days. Today is business day # 8 and I have received no photo proof or shipping confirmation.

I contact Five Star Fairings again, and to my surprise Matt Ferris answers the phone, rudely tells me the piece will be here "soon". After attempting to get more detail and explain that I am extremely dissatisfied, he tells me he does not need my business and has plenty of other customers. After going through a yelling match wondering how this company is actually in business I hung up the phone. And immediately received an email saying my order had been cancelled and to return the fairings that I had received and THEN they would refund my money.

YEAH RIGHT! They have lost their mind to think I am going to inconvenience myself by removing the fairings that were right and paying more money to ship them back and hope that they actually refund my money.

I am fighting this to the end and have reported them to the BBB and contacted my credit card company to see what can be done about the wasted $711 spent with this ridiculous company. Do Not Use Five Star Fairings!

Motorcycle Fairings are among the most bought accessories for motorbikes. The reason is that such fairings can give a completely different look to the motorcycles. There are various sports bike fairings which are available around that can make your bike look like a sports bike and that too in a very stylish way. It is this style factor which makes motorcycle fairings a craze among the youngsters who want to add a bit of spice to their lives.

The benefit of this is that they can change the way in which people think about them. Imagine what would happen if your bike looked sporty and different tomorrow? There would be more heads that will turn, more people will want to know you and speak with you in college and you might even attract the attention of the opposite sex.

I have always been of the same opinion. I have wanted my bike to look different and unique. I go to college and to catch the attention of the girls, my bike should be striking. That also helps me to make my personality all the more attractive. I looked for various fairings but realized that they were very expensive. Their prices were so high that I couldn't have the guts to go and buy them.

Then I enquired from some of my friends and they recommended that I could get it done from local vendors. However, my experience with these local vendors was not great either. They all quoted different prices and they were not even certain about their quality. The quality in some cases was extremely bad. I wanted a vendor who not only offered me good prices but was also ready to provide very high quality. I was not ready to compromise on either the price or the quality. That is when I decided to go to a recommended place, Five Star Fairings. Some of my friends had already worked with this vendor and were extremely impressed by the quality that was on offer.

However, with the bad experience that I had in the past; I wanted to be absolutely certain. So, I approached the team of Five Star Fairings to know more about the kind of motorcycle fairings that they offered. I was stunned to look at these fairings. They looked perfect for my bike and it seemed that it was extremely simple to install them too. What more? The colors looked strong and weather resistant. The point revolved around quality, though. I told them about my concern and was very pleased to hear their response on the same. They said that if I was not satisfied with the fairing that they offered, I would get my money back. However, I would not get 100% but 115% instead. Therefore, if I was not completely satisfied; I will get more than what I had initially paid. This spoke volumes about the confidence that they had in their quality.

Since I have purchased from Five Star Fairings, I have been completely satisfied and happy with what I have got.

How many of the readers here are biking enthusiasts? I am sure that most of you reading this will be so. By biking enthusiasts, I do not mean that you should have some of the most expensive bikes in the world. All I mean to say is that you should own a bike and have the desire to make it look wonderful. There are so many people around who love their bikes. This is especially the case when they have a sporty bike. It is their pride and that makes people to look at them and be impressed by them.

The motorcycle, however, is required to go through changes from time to time. There might be wear and tear. Accidents also tend to happen sometimes. In those cases, the body of the bike, also known as motorcycle fairings, might be scratched. Given the amount you have spent in owning your bike, you wouldn't want your motorcycle's body to be scratched. You would instead want it to look great always.

That happened with me too. When my bikes got old, I wanted them to have a great new look. But my problem is that I do not have just one bike. I am a huge bike enthusiast and possess four different bikes. All these bikes are from different brands as I love experimenting. Now I was planning to give them all a different look. I did not want them to look old. The best way to do so was motorcycle fairings. I knew that my bike's engine was great and by changing the body, no one would be able to make out that it is old.

Now, I was clear that I wanted to buy it from a local vendor because they offered much better prices than the branded ones. However, which was that vendor I wanted to work with? Someone suggested Five Star Fairings. The only concern I had before visiting any of these stores was that I wanted variety. As I have already told you, I have four different bikes and all of them require different kind of bodies. When I visited Five Star Fairings, though, I was positively surprised by the kind of variety they had on offer.

I realized that they offer motorcycle fairings for Honda, Ducati, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. It was not only about these brands. They were offering different varieties in these brands. In other words, there were fairings for a variety of different models of these bikes. That made my job simpler. I knew that they were offering the highest plinth of quality and their prices were great. Now I also knew that they had fairings for so many bikes. I was obviously going to love it.

Since then, I have visited Five Star Fairings quite frequently. Whenever I have a new requirement or my friends require motorcycle fairings, I always recommend them to visit the store and have anything that they desire. I will suggest all of you to also consider this store and be the recipient of their path breaking service and product quality.

ORDERED A FARING KIT TOOK OVER A MONTH TO GET TO ME . THE PRODUCT IS JUST JUNK , IT COMES FROM HONG KONG WTH THE RECEIPT OF $80.00 DOLLARS NOT THE $650.00 THEY CHARGE .

THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY THEY WILL NOT REPLY BACK OR FOLLOW THROUGH WITH WHAT THEY SAY ITS A SCAM .

WHO EVER IS READING THIS DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY ITS A FRAUD ON WHAT THEY DO THEY DONT MAKE ANYTHING OR DO ANYTHING . TO THE PEOPLE READING THIS I RECOMEND THAT YOU BUY OEM PARTS THE PARTS YOU BUY FROM FIVE STAR FARING WILLNOT FIT OR LOOK LIKE THE PARTS FOR YOUR BIKE.

I have been trying for DAYS to speak to the manager --- who NEVER returns my emails or calls. Don't buy!!!

They take your money!!! Still no refund or product!!!! It's been nothing but a run around since day 1 of purchase. Should have trusted my gut and believed the reviews I read!!!

Now, I'm out the money and have nothing to show for it. Not even an explanation as to what happened or why i still haven't received a refund.

I am surprised this company is still in business!!! I'm calling the better business bureau.
