Cancel My membership
- - Traveled outside Canada; I haven't been to a gym since October, yet I'm billed for sessions I didn't attend and want to cancel.
I had travel outside Canada.
My fitness world code shows very clearly that I haven't been to one of the gyms since the beginning of October but every week I receive invoices for sessions that I did not participate in.
I am so angry about that,so i just want to cancel my membership.
Preferred solution: Just to cancel the bill(41.47$) fitness world send to me this month Because since the beginning of october i was not going to the gym,because i had travelled.

My name is Amirali Minsariya and I have been privileged member of Fitness World Lougheed branch I have been using personal training since last 3 months and used pay prepaid or 24 session ETF,I have noticed that the company keeps me overcharging for the activities I have not done as it clearly reflects in my bank statement and the same is informed to the bank and they are communicating to the company,
plus there is illegal withdrawal of $3000 from my account from FW without my consent, the same is informed to the branch but they have no clarifications for the same.
I am a person with chronic illness and on disability as PDST and I have informed FW few times to cancel my membership but no revert back for the same.

Annual Charges

I was never been informed about the annual charges and I took word of mouth trusting the guy about the terms and conditions. I really upset with the policies and want to cancel the membership.
This is kind of mental harassment. Don't want to move ahead with the gym membership because of untrustworthy relationship.

Steve Nash closed down, so I ended the membership with Steve Nash in March 2020. I never signed a contract with Fitness World, or received or read a contract from Fitness World.
However, I recently noticed that Fitness World kept taking money out of my bank account without my permission. I want to stop them and want my money back. I want to stop interacting with Fitness World.
A lady from their Administrative Services shouted at me over the phone to send an email if I want to terminate my contract, which I never signed in the first place. In the end, she never gave me information on who and where to contact.

Taking my money from my credit card without my permission
- - Fitness World charges my credit card since March 2020 after Steve Nash closed.

Steve Nash closed down March 2020 and they terminate business with me. I recently noticed that Fitness World has been taking my money out from my credit card since then without my permission, or any business contact with me.
I want them to stop using my credit card without my consent and give me money back. I want them to cut off any relationship with me. called to administration office, and a lady shouted at me. She said Steve Nash was taken over by Fitness World and my name is automatically registered with them.
They wont give me money back.
She didnt even tell me how to terminate my contract which I never signed with them in the first place. Help!

Membership Scam Fitness World

The club was closed during COVID and later on sold to Fitness World. My membership has been transferred to the new ownership. Some of the clubs have been opened but not the ones in my neighbourhood.
I called the nearest location which is half hour from my house and asked them to cancel my membership. They say it has to be done in person. I explained that the COVID is on the rise in BC and I do not wish to make an unnecessary trip if I can do this over the phone. I feel the company wants to **** their customers.
I will bring this to the news agency if they don't do anything about this have purchase 2 memberships for total of 22 months for my son and myself for total of $2,141.94 following are the charge detail and dates: Mar /20 $62.99 Amanda Prijatelj annual equipment fee Jan 4/20 $20.98 Account freezings fee ( for 2 months ) Sept 30/19 $1,044.99 ( Amanda Prijatelj; myself membership for 22 months starts Dec 31/2019) Oct 01/19 $62.99 ( ***** *********; annual equipment fee) July 31/19 $944.99 ( ***** *********; my son membership for 22 months starts Aug 1/2019) Now, Stevenash has intentions to closed down the service not to deliver the service.My March bill was $97 instead of the usual $44. I have tried to contact them 3 times since approx March 10 (twice for covid related and once for billing) and have received no response.The owners are the same and just changed their name but they still bill your credit card under fitness world.

WARNING BEWARE OF FTINESS WORLD SCAM! they have started billing and charging members credit cards without their consent.
We have not been able to use their facilities, nor have they returned multiple emails and telephone messages whcih we have left for them.
They filed bankruptcy and now opened under a new name but obviously need the money so they are now charging their members credit cards without authorization.
Requests to cancel membership has been ignored and they refuse to refund the monies. Contact your credit card issuer and report this fraud immediately!
When you cancel their membership they will tell you that their contract states they are allowed to charge your credit card as you are bound. This is an outright lie.
Do not berlieve this nonsense and report this fraud and post your complaints to message board, complaints boards, pissed consumer and rip off reports to let people know about their SCAM!
IN FACT THEY HAVE ALSO SCAMMED STEVE NASH WHO ALSO FILED A LAWSUIT AGAINST THESTR CROOKS
THEY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE AND HAVE NOT PAID THEIR EMPLOYEES BUT STARTING TO CHARGE MEMBERS CREDIT CARDS AND ARE BEING SUED! JOIN THE CLASS ACTION SUIT
