Verified ReviewerCharged for a wine shipment I never received or signed for. Company dismissed my forgery concerns and refused a refund or replacement, with poor customer service throughout.
- Nov 2024: charged for a package I never received; signature not mine.
- Refund or replacement denied; proof of non-residence offered.
- Bad service.
I am writing to share my negative experience with Firstleaf. In November 2024, I was charged for a wine package that I never received or signed for.
The delivery confirmation included a signature that was not mine, and I offered to provide proof that I no longer lived at the delivery address at the time of delivery. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue, Firstleaf refused to refund or replace the order, stating that anyone over 21 at the address could sign for the package. I felt that my concerns about the signature and potential forgery were not taken seriously, and the company did not adequately investigate my claim.
Their customer service was unhelpful and dismissive, and I am extremely dissatisfied with how my case was handled. I would caution others to be aware of these issues before doing business with Firstleaf.
- Charged for a package never received
- Refused refund or replacement
- Ignored potential signature forgery
Preferred solution: I’m not seeking any resolution. I no longer wish to do business with Firstleaf. Posting this to warn others so they can make informed decisions.
User's recommendation: Research alternatives and read the fine print on delivery and signature policies. Use a card with purchase protection, track shipments closely, and require adult ID verification to avoid disputed signatures.
Shipment didn't arrive
- Issue was with FedEx, not Firstleaf.
- FedEx says it arrived at a holding location on 12/18 and was returned to Firstleaf, and I won't use FedEx.
My complaint wasnt with Firstleaf but with FedEx, FedEx said my shipment arrived on Monday 12/18 at a holding location, I went to pick it up n not there then to come find out it was sent back to Firstleaf the first week of December. A long story short I wont be using FedEx for future shipments
- Excellent wine selection n price
Preferred solution: Full refund

Verified ReviewerCustomer service
- Suggest using a delivery service other than UPS.
- Three-hour delivery windows are often untimely and keep me waiting.
I would suggest an another delivery service other than UPS. On several occasions I've been a prisoner in my home waiting for a delivery.
First, there is a three hour window for the delivery, which is most times untimely. In closing, I'm not to happy with Firstleaf, both in customer service and the attention to satisfying the customers service.

You’re making claims about details you don’t have. My review is based on my experience, not your assumptions.
It sounds like you were careless when placing the order. Yes, mis-deliveries happen, but what a coincidence that of all the addresses that exist your order was delivered to an address you previously lived at.
It wasn't a missed delivery if they didn't deliver it to my address.
Reading comprehension my friend. I wrote “mis-delivery”.
As in you stating the delivery was not made to where you now reside.
Missed delivery is one delivered to the address on the shipping label, no one is home and the driver takes it back. You experienced a mis-delivery because you were careless in not confirming the address before you submitted your order.
oh okay
