Preferred solution
as due to my present sick leg injury first, to recover require funds of US$ 3 million , others to invest at the bank for future investment. as urgent resources .? is there any branch of One Pierce Place, Suite 1500 Itasca, IL 60143?

now I wish US$ 2 million For my urgent needs and I wish to deposit /invest my balance sheet . With interest. i am waiting for early response as i am facing higher sick reasons and hardship at Sri lanka

Watch your account when clearing personal checks

On several occasions, I noticed checks were taking longer to process and some were done quicker. I called them on this they stated it was the other party but that was wrong. A check written to a local grocery was held for 3 days and on the day it cleared my account had many eft withdraws. Very fee hungry!!!! Then, on a Friday a check was written after 5:00 cleared before 12:01 PM. I called the other party they stated they do not do ach and go thru their back office and normally clears the next day. I called First Midwest Bank and the customer service said it would clear before 12:01 and a manger stated it clears after 12:01. This is unethical. So, watch your check writting!!!!

Switching my bank account was not the best idea.

I switched my business banking account to First Midwest from a different bank where we had been banking for 10 plus years due to some policy changes. No big deal! yet?. I have other accounts at First Midwest, but they are all managed on line, through ATM or by mail I had not been in the bank in several years. Unfortunately I had to go to the bank to pick up my business account checks and due to social distancing I had to go to the drive through. No customer service. First Midwest emphasizes that they care about their customers but the young lady at the drive up window was not customer friendly handed me an envelope that had been opened and was extremely curt. Needless to say she was young enough to be my granddaughter but her professionalism was sophomoric in the school yard funky. I waited at the window until I finished reviewing the content of the OPEN ENVELOPE. There were no other customers and there was no activity she never looked up and never came back to the window to confirm that everything was okay. I needed to make a decision about bring any other business to this bank or to this branch and that just won't happen. The first time I did business with First Midwest it was in my neighborhood and everyone there was terrific. This branch is in an area where I planned to buy a home and the customer service at this bank stinks. It's amazing how people treat you differently after they have your money in their hands. Well First Midwest might not be getting any more of mine.

User's recommendation: This just isn't the bank for me. I've been with my Credit Union for 31 years and I think I will keep my business there. When people treat you like they are doing you a favor just remember they depend on your money to stay afloat.

On hold

yes I was on hold for several hours Sunday between 12 and 2 for customer service. to get the password update Change telephone. that was Sunday today I've been on the phone for over 20 minutes they keep on getting the same message I had yesterday evidently they have nobody working in password reset. please hire somebody. John Newton. Guy Mitchell. we've been trying to get our password set for the last couple days Saturday they told me to call Sunday I called Sunday I was on the phone for almost an hour and a half. waiting for some of the answer by Og is a message somebody will be with me shortly. Trevor on the phone for 20 minutes waiting. and I like to get my password reset cuz we we dropped our old phone company AT&T Andrew using an internet phone now and I have to change the number they said I can't do it unless I call in. yeah it with a I tried that already. I tried that already late somebody else tried it too but it didn't work. +326-36*-636-*424. well which one we are at 17017 Ridgeland Tinley Park Illinois 60477. 7 all the old numbers 708-614-****. okay. Yeah we are getting. to hear mine would be grouped. we have to drop that phone number. online yeah. I'll try to get a security code but I won't give it to me. I can't hear you with this damn phone. I don't know yet.

Pay to get your own money back

WE were charged $30. Per IRA to get our money out at the end of CD. We were taking it to Edward Jones for a rollover IRA. They called it a transfer fee although they did not transfer it out. They only wrote a check out. Nothing but trouble at this bank. If they told us we would be charged to get our money out at the end....we would not have done business with them.

Takes too long for transactions to go through!!

As someone who budgets their money, it's extremely frustrating when you make purchases and it takes days for the transactions to go through and the money finally gets deducted from your account. For example, I will make a few purchases, they will be pending from my account for a few days, then let's say I get paid that Friday...well my check isn't as much anymore because all those pending transactions finally went through. So there's no point in looking forward to having funds available because all the transactions go through on payday anyway so we are kind of back on square one. This bank needs to authorize purchases and have transactions go through faster.
