Scam! They tell you lies.
It took forever to get the membership card. 6 calls. Never got the welcome packet. Both because they didn't want us to know what a horrific "health" plan it is.It is a plan.
A plan that takes your money but provides NOTHING in return. The part that angers me the,most was a specific questioned was answered by flat out lies, by over 12-15 "representatives". And several questions got blocked by stupid reasons,they wouldn't answer my question. As in, deferred to other numbers to put me off & decoy what they really are.

Do NOT buy health insurance from this company. They are NOT affiliated with ANY reliable national company!!!
MANY MANY inside staff people asked of policy covered Behavorial Services.
All said our policy did. Waited an entire month + to get my son help needed. Denied access to his bed BECAUSE YOUR PEOPLE FLAT OUT LIED & SAID HE WAS COVERED RVERY TIME I CALLED EXCEPT - Cedric the very last guy who picked up the phone after hours! Calling in me to help me find a workable policy.
ENTIRE WASTED MONTH THINKING MY SON WOULD GET ONTO THIS FACILITY BECAUSE HE HAD THE NECESSARY COVERAGE. LIVID isn't a big enough word! I will most likely end up in the ER tonight because of the stupid idiots selling your policy & answering customers questions WRONG! And you have ALOT of them.

Below is the email I sent to John, who governs the Firsthealth Gym in Raeford. He hasn't responded to me via email or phone call.
Being unresponsive to my request denies me the services needed to improve my quality of life! And is a disparity, injustice and inhumane in action. Having been a member from 2013 - ****, speaks volumes!

John this is Carlista Williams, (member id 500****). I joined Firsthealth Gym, April 23, 2013: my payment method auto-pay, last use of membership/facility, March 29, 2022, auto-pay continued through April 2023.
Not realizing my auto-pay wasn't attached to my bank checking account, but to my (debit card, which allows expires preiodally, thus my membership expired/canceled June 4, 2023, due to non-payment. Payments toward my membership continued for a year with-out me accessing use of the facility. I'm asking you to consider removing the "block/restraint/bar" so I am allowed to complete my membership. I recently suffered two strokes within 1 week.
I need the use of the services provided by Firsthealth Gym to assist with my effort towards recovery. My insurance via Blue Cross Blue Shield (FITON Health) will make monthly payments for the membership.

I need to speak with a representative. Not being able to speak with someone is the reason I need to cancel my plan.

Not sure this number worked. No one answered and I was eventually disconnected.
Still being charged after cancelling two months ago. Terrible, shady health insurance.

Found a more suitable plan. I dont have any further explanation. But thank you any way for your offers.
I was told I was getting Aetna
- - Card doesn't show Aetna.
- - I was told providers were in-network.
- - I paid $500 and out-of-pocket for visits and meds.
- - Agent claimed I was getting Aetna.
No where on the insurance card does it say Aetna. I was also told all my providers were in network.
So not only did I pay over 500$ for this scam insurance, I also had to pay out of pocket for all my doctors visits and medications. I do not understand why the agent told me I was getting Aetna when a company allegedly owned by Aetna is not the same thing as Aetna.

Disparity, injustice, inhumane? You sound like you’re describing 20 cent/hour labor in a sweatshop. They probably aren’t responding because you never formally canceled your membership.
