i have had a first digital credit card for many years always paid on time (auto-pay} more than the minimum payment due. I disputed unauthorized roku charges.
I received a letter 10/8/2024 stating i received credit for all unauthorized charges that was charged by ROKU. That I was not liable for these charges. That the investigation was finished, and I was not at fault. Roku did not have authorization to do this.
Then on 10/20/2024 first digital card Synovus bank put those unauthorized charges bank on my account. I called them, and they were very unprofessional and very mean, and their reason was the letter was a mistake. A mistake no other reason, just they wanted to put more charges on my card, and they were laughing about the situation. Very, very unprofessional CSR.
This conversation took place on 10/28/2024 844-358-****. 20.74$ and 24.96$. This is a company that is corrupt. They charge high interest rate, and monthly fees, and huge annual fees.
Then on top of all that they put back on unauthorized charges so you cannot use your card. They even refuse a CLI after years of auto payments and never being late. This is a very corrupt company and should not allow stealing from their clients. I am a disabled Senior citizen {I worked for 42 years) and on a fixed income.
Just because they are a corporation they can steal from you? The point is that they knew they were in the wrong, and they thought it was humorous.
According to them, it was a pleasure to make you upset and that they had power to steal from you, and you cannot do anything about it. Really sick people work for this corrupt company.
