I have had an First American Warranty for 5 years.A few years ago they seemed to be relatively quick at sending a contactor out, but recently I've noticed that response times are getting longer. I've had to wait 4 to 5 days before a contractor will show up. So be prepared to go without heat or water for extended periods of time. I Just wondering if this could be a business strategy? This company partners with the bottom feeder contractor companies.Be assured that if they repair or fix an item it will be done in the cheapest way possible using the cheapest materials/product possible. Read the contract fine print! You will find that you almost always have to pay for items "not covered" on top of the $60 per visit fee.
