Dr. Fox at Fine Animal Hospital
I took my dog in to see Dr. Fox and was extremely disappointed with his lack of treatment and his manner of neglect. My dog was having issues vomiting and the medication he gave didn't work, in fact, it made my dog even sicker. When I tried to contact Dr. Fox (several times by phone), to tell him this, I was told repeatedly that he was given the message and would call me back, but I never heard from him. I felt as if he was ashamed of his mistake and did the cowardly thing by avoiding my phone calls. Needless to say, I am pissed and think he is an incompetent Vet and possibly loosing his mind. I am also curious about why some of these people are posting comments to defend him, I thought the name of this site was "Pissed Consumer", not defend the bad doctor. It makes me wonder if they are related to him and trying to cover up his insufficient knowledge of veterinary medicine and yellow belly.

DON'T BRING YOUR PET TO DR. FOX AT FINE ANIMAL HOSPITAL! My cat had become very week to the point that she couldn't stand. She wasn't eating due to nausea and rather than giving her medication to relieve the nausea, Dr. Fox gave her Valium to an already weak cat. Not only did it make her weaker, but he made her vomit and sicker. He is also very neglectful in returning patient phone calls. I had to call his office 5 times in one day just to get a call back. Please don't bring your sick pets to this doctor, he will only make them sicker and then encourage putting them to sleep, like he did to my poor kitty.

Dr Fox and his wife, who thinks she's a vet are terrrible! The staff is rude, lazy and sloppy.
He is neglectful, difficult to reach and indifferent.
He seems to be interested only in the money and does not have a passion or professionalism to be a vet. The hospital is shabby and dirty.
You are so right!!! I had an unpleasant experience with Dr.
Fox in the Bedford Hills office. He is so inconsiderate to his patients. He never returns phone calls, is rarely at the office because he is always vacationing somewhere and when you do get the chance to see him in person, he is always so vague and confusing when you need him to describe the problem and the options you have based upon the problem your pet is having.
It seems to me, that Dr. Fox has too much money, is tired of working as a vet and frustrated at the fact that he needs to continue if he wants to keep up this expensive life style he has become so accustomed to living.

I have been taking my dog to Dr. Fox for 12 years now. Dr Fox is the best diagnostician I know.
He is brilliant,extremely diligent, very caring and compassionate. I would not trust any other doctor to care for my dog.
Oh, I forgot to mention that we certainly did have tests done on her.
Angie, my cats health declined in a matter of days. He knew my cats history and neglected taking care of her.
Obviously, I cannot go into her entire history here. I too have been going to him for a long time (possibly even longer than you), and trusted him, otherwise I wouldn't have put my faith in his knowledge when my kitty needed his help. However, he didn't treat her properly, was neglectful in returning my calls, unclear in his diagnosis and acted as if he just didn't want to take the trouble to take care of my kitty. Maybe he has too much money, maybe he is tired of being a vet, I don't know.
All I know is that he didn't give my kitty the consideration she deserved. I don't want this to happen to anyone else.
How long was your cat sick before bringing him to the vet? If he was in such a weakened state he must have either been sick for a long time or had something horrible, like cancer.
Did you authorize tests to find out what was wrong with your kitty? If not, and your cat was in pain, this treatment may have been the only option to make him comfortable until the inevitable. I have been going to Dr.
Fox for a very long time and he has looked after my well pets,treated my sick pets, saved my injured pets, and given quality of life to my terminallly ill pets. I only have rave revues for Fine Animal Hospital and its fine doctors.
