Financial Credit Services-BULL ***

AI Highlights
  • 5 months, no credit change and no disputes on file; $92 charged for unperformed services.
  • Cancellation attempt on 8/1; charged $92 for August.

signed up for credit repair services its been 5 months and my credit is still the same, no disputes on file, FCS still charging me $92.00 for services that are not being done! THEY ARE A SCAM!

Called yesterday 8/1/17 to cancel my account and 10 min later was charged $92.00 for month of Aug! When monthly charge is to come out o the 10th of each month, called FCS spoke to some rude female and she tried to argue with me saying payment is to come out on the 5th of each month and I was suppose to call within 5 business days to cancel account, asked to speak to manager (who was worse) and she stated payment is to come out on the 1st of each month! When I have proof that for the last 5 months it has been withdrawn on the 10th! These people are terrible, they do not give a *** about the customers all they want is to take your money and not do anything to your credit report.

THEY ARE A SCAM and I will make sure that no one EVER EVER EVER signs up with them again. They make you beleive that they are doing something when they really arent. I had credit repair services before with lexington law and saw an 100 point improvement within 3 months of them working with me. Always had access to my account online and was cc'd with every dispute they did.

I canceled with them because of what they were charging which was $150 a month. Biggest mistake, shouldve stuck with them. for whoever is reading this review and having doubts about FCS trust your gut, they are a scam! Theu have no acces to online accounts you can not see what they are doing on your behalf, *** they might be using your info for all I know.

I read reviews on them and had my gut feeling but still signed uo as a dumb ***.

Now I am assed out of $92 for services that are not being rendered! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH FCS!

Are they even still in business?!?!

AI Highlights
  • Debt sold to FCS within 2 weeks of discharge; unmarked letter received.
  • Paying for almost a year with no online access; the site disappeared.

Went to the hospital last year and within 2 weeks of discharge I was in collections with FCS; before my insurance even had a chance to go through! They sent one (unmarked) letter and I confirmed the sold debt with the hospital (who couldn't understand how it was already in collections).

Have YET to speak with FCS but have been paying for almost a full year.

I pay online and there is no access to my account; only a payment option, and today I went to pay and the website no longer exists!!!!!! WHERE DID MY MONEY GO?

Same here but I had talked to the hospital and they did send me to collections. I was also in contact with people at FCS, I could not get the hospital to send me a bill or I would have just paid them. There loss they could have made all there money instead of selling it to collections.

This fim never made any form of contact with me, yet was quick to falsely report me to the credit agencies.

AI Highlights
  • A $94 lab bill was turned over to Financial Credit Services without notice.
  • I would have paid if notified.
  • There are online complaints about Financial Credit Services.

I had some lab work done at a local hospital. The hospital has all of my contact information.

I recently had a credit report ran and discovered that a $94.00 bill was turned over to Financial Credit Services, PO Box 90 Clearwater, FL 33757. This firm has never reached out to me with any mail, email, or phone call to collect the funds. I have never been made aware of this debit before. Yet their first action was to tarnish my credit report with two different agencies with this minor debit.

I pay my bills on time and would have gladly paid this one if made aware of it. Multiple attempts to make contact to resolve this matter with Financial Credit Services have failed.

I now see many complaints against this firm online. Not a creditable collections agency.

Financial Credit Services trying to collect on a paid debt

AI Highlights
  • Emergency care was excellent; staff resolved the issue quickly.
  • Collections harassed after payment; outsourcing should follow the law.

I took my son for emergency care in the middle of the night. Treatment was excellent.

Even that he wasn't feeling well, the staff was great and issue was solved quickly. My only problem is with their collection company (Financial Credit Services, Clearwater). Today Oct. 10, they continue to harass me by sending a letter dated Oct.

8, when the full payment was made in August 20. Makes me wonder how they manage their debt and payment information? Collection Company insists that I must provide them with payment verification. This collection company obviously is not aware, that the burden of proof is not on me but on them.

As per section 809 of "The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act", it is the debt collector's responsibility to contact the creditor and verify the debt, then send me verification. This collection company doesn't understand this and tries to place the burden of proof on the consumer even when it is against "The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act". I have tried to explain that their collection process is flawed, but the supervisor only wants to do what they are told even if it violates the law. The hospital prior to outsourcing any services should make sure that the processes to be followed on their behalf are within the law.

Hospital services were great, collection services are questionable at the least.

Financial Credit Services

AI Highlights
  • Medical-bill notices; I replied to the first, heard nothing, and I dispute the charge; the second repeats the first with 30-day window.

I have recieved 2 notices from them, the first one I responded with a letter, never heard back from them with the creditors name, I am disputing the charge, I never got a bill from anyone and nothing was ever charged to my insurance company. I am sending a second letter, I believe that this is a scam

This is some form of a medical bill, if I do not recieve a response this time, I am ignoring any future letters.

The second notice said the same thing as the first, that I had 30 days to respond. It is a scam

Financial Credit Services are unreachable by phone or by their website via a 'contact' link!

AI Highlights
  • The 800-488-**** number is often busy and won't connect.
  • The site shows no payment history for verification and contact attempts are persistent.

This is a medical facility collection company. Customers (pts)are not able to call them at their posted # (get a very fast busy signal) 800-488-**** does not go through and connect. Also, their website does not reflect payment history for account verification of payments by credit card (which by the way their website ALLOWS you to do that while trying to get contact information so they can HARASS you non-stop!) Both my husband & I are currently unemployed with 0 money coming in, you would think these companies would be grateful to get any money towards their accounts.

Financial Credit Services

AI Highlights
  • Bogus debt letters contain implied threats.
  • They claim you owe money you don’t owe.
  • Report to the FTC, BBB, Illinois Attorneys General, and FBI.

Watch out! This company is sending out bogus debt letters, trying to strongarm people into paying out large sums of money.

Don't fall for it!

Report them to the Federal Trade Commission and the Better Business Bureau!

The company makes implied threats in their letters, in an attempt to frighten the recipient. They claim you owe money you don't actually owe. Then, if you try to write to them or phone them, they ignore your correspondence.

Possibly the uneducated or the elderly are the intended targets.

You can also report them the the Illinois Attorneys General, and to the FBI.

First off this company has the Rudest Employees, I received a collection bill from them, Actually my sister did for the day she was brought into the hospital and what gets me pissed, she passed away that day and when I called they were very rude and hung up on me so of course I called and got the Training Supervisors Name "Brad" and called and left messages and no return phone call… Of Course!... I called back again today....I actually had one of the collectors ask me what is a supervisor going to do???

So I call again to finally get a Supervisor on phone, and she was just as rude if not ruder. I am filling out a report with the Federal Trades Commission and Better Business Bureau…And I will be calling the Hospital to see if they did send my sisters last day on earth to a collection agency and if so …“Shame on Martin Memorial Hospital in Martin County Florida”.
