Refund Policy Review
I want a refund. I have never been able to get through on the phone when I first installed even after hours of waiting and I still can't get through now when I am trying to get a refund.
Program Download Review
I like how finally fast is downloaded even when you don't give it permission. Then its all over!
Can't seam to find it in my programs to remove it. Bunch of ***!
How do I remove Ascentive program from my computer? I can't get rid of it!
- Agreed to pay $29.95 to speed up the computer.
- Charged extra; it slows the computer.
- Cannot remove the program; support hasn't helped.
A couple of months ago I agreed to pay the $29.95 to supposedly help my computer run faster. I was charged for additional money that I didn't agree to and since I installed the program onto my computer it is running slower than before.
I have tried to contact customer support for assistance many times but have been unsuccessful. I have also tried to remove this program from my computer several times but it just won't go away. Does anyone know how to remove this program from my computer? Any suggestions would really be appreciated.
Thanks. Debbie
Free Credit Report.com
- Free offers often require card details and charges.
- If you don't cancel on time you're charged.
- Ascentive charges more after download.
When anyone advertises that something is free believe me it isnt. Nothing is free in this country ou have to put in a credit card number before you can procede.
Then if you dont cancel with in a certain amount of days they charge you which is a rip off, so therefore it is not free.
I have encounterd many sites on the web that are like that and I am pissed. Dont get suckered into Finally Fast.com either becasuse it does not make you computer faster if anything it makes it slower My Computer had a virus and I tried to use it and the product they sell is Ascentive and after you pay for the disc to download you have to register and when you get to that part then it costs more money which is a ripoff
Ascentive Sucks
- The software is a scam and infected PC.
- Uninstalling was hard; two components were involved.
- They worry about credit card data and will contact BBB.
"Wow, my computer's fast, finally, finally fast . com." Recommended by all those famous magazines?
Ascentive bribed a bunch of magazines to recommend this *** software to the consumer.
Dont ever listen to the finally fast.com B.S. Its a scam. All this product did was put a virus on my computer.
Luckly my virus scan picked it up. And i was unable to uninstall By first uninstalling PC speedscan pro, then the performance center.
But now im worried about these guys having my credit card number. How can these guys get away with this?
Im going to the Better buesiness bureau. These bogus products should not be advertized on TV.
I bought this program off the internet and it wont work
- Program bought online won't run; sign-in name/password not accepted.
- Needs steps to work or refund to bank account; three people tried to fix.
i bought the program off the internet yesterday (finally fast.com) and now it wont do anything .wont take my sign in name or pass word. i can do anything with it and don't know why but if this is how it is going to work i want my money back in my bank account.

No Disk Delivery
- Ordered 2 CDs from Finallyfast; not received.
- Money was charged to credit card; CDs not shipped.
- Orders placed on 10/6/08 and 10/13/08; no CDs received.
I ordered 2 CD's from Finallyfast and have recieved nothing from them. I have payed for the CD's and would like to have them.
I cannot believe a company affiliated with Microsoft can do business this way. I cannot find a phone number for this company anywhere.
One order was placed on 10/6/08 and the other one on 10/13/08. They were supposed to be sent out on the next business day.
The money has been charged to my credit card already but no CD's. This is a bunch of c p in my books.

Try calling them and saying this is your minor childs laptop and that they used your card fraudulently to pay for program.
tried every thing I can find, even called the company and the man was very rude to me, wouldn't help me at all.. It's on my programs list and I cannot uninstall it.
It continues to sit there and every time I turn on my computer it throws up a window telling me how much junk I have in my laptop and then offers to rid me of it. I want it off my laptop and its still there.
No one should have the right to put something on your computer and then not be prosecuted for it and for not letting you get it uninstalled. I'm 73 and don't want to have this ruining my laptop...Please help.
I closed the account being used for automatic payment. I do this often to help prevent my credit info from being stolen or misused.
These scammers have tried calling me asking for new credit info.
Some nerve! I am still trying to remove FF from my control panel.
I was scammed too. They charge my bank account 3 times without me knowing.
I only agreed to sign up for a year and was told it was for a year then, I was scammed and ***. I told them I do not want any automatic renewal and was lied to. Everyone should come together and sue.
I try getting the manager and got no help and the billing department did not call me back when they were suppose to. Everyone should come together and sue this company for misleading us.
Yes, they have infected my computer and I cannot get rid of it. I didn't even ask for it.
Yippee. This key, regarding right clicking FF in lower rt corner of screen, and clicking "exit" enabled me to uninstall as described. Phew! THANKS!

Hello fellow victims of Finally Fast Scam. I made the mistake of buying this *** but canceled my purchase in 2 days when I realized I couldn't get the results I sought & they promised. In calling up a customer rep, they actually directed me to the below process. I just did it and hopefully it was removed. DON'T FORGET: **If you continue to have problems with them, file a claim against them with the Better Business Bureau & Finally Fast is obligated to act on your behalf to save their ***. Same goes for any other company!
A: To uninstall our software, please make sure you have closed the software you would like to remove by opening your System Tray at the lower right side of your computer, right-clicking on the software icon and clicking on “Exit”. The product alert will display and close out of the alert by clicking on the “X”. Now please click your start menu and click on the control panel. From here choose “add or remove programs”, select the software you want to remove and click on remove. The Installer window will open. Choose remove, click next and follow the remaining prompts to uninstall your software.
use a program called iobit uninstaller or revo uninstaller and let it do the advanced uninstall for the program. There may be other programs you will find that you do not use or need that may have been installed about the same time or since that time. If you need additional help to fix your system since this is what i do for a living and 40 years of experience, please let me know and will tell you how we can get the job done.

Thank you randysh for the recommendation of the iobit uninstaller. I can't believe the remanents of finally fast it found & removed! Very impressed with this tool & will use it again I'm sure!
I don't remember what I was downloading or why but I was apparently not diligent in reading what the myriad of boxes said during the download and ended up with "Finally Fast". When I tried to uninstall it using the Windows 7 uninstall program, I got a message saying that a file that needed to be deleted with Finally Fast was being used by - guess what - Finally Fast, even though I didn't have the program running.
I was a bit perplexed until I remembered to check "processes" in Task Manager and found a Finally Fast task running. I "quit" that process and then had no trouble uninstalling the Finally Fast program.

I have Windows 7 operating system. I was able to remove Finally Fast from my computer by clicking on the windows icon in the task bar.
Next type in finally fast at the bottom (search files and programs). You will see there are 5 or 6 Finally fast files listed.
select one file at a time, then right click on that file and then select uninstall. Do this for each file until they are all removed.
I was downloading crystal web cam and finally fast download now I can't get rid of it UHg
i did not add this i was downloading crystal web cam and this *** on my pc and i want it off!!!! how do i get rid of this?
do a system restore at a date BEFORE you installed Finally Fast....make a note of other programs that you added just in case you need to re-add them
If you just recently added it to your PC, do a system restore on any date before your installation of Finally Fast - it will remove any installed programmed since that date, so take a note of other programs that might be deleted just in case you want to re-install those
I am SICK of haveing finally fast on my computer whenever i try it tells me to rentry and i do it and it keeps doing it :? :?
:? :cry What do i do
I am having the same problem~want to remove Ascentive! Removed thru add remove programs, but it is still showing in my Program Files.
Does this mean it's still active on my computer? When I try to delete the file, it says I "need permision" even after I okay the administrator permission window.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
If you can determine which processes are running for the acentive program then kill those processes and then run the uninstall program.
If that doesn't work you can edit the registry itself to rid yourself of files that won't go away. I have done it several times and have also gone too far and deleted files that I shouldn't have; so this procedure is not for the faint of heart.
If you are using windows XP you can use regedit to find all instances to the acentive files that you want to delete. Go to start-> run-> type in regedit -> return. A regedit window will pop up and you will see all the elements in your registry. Use the edit/find option to find the acentive files and delete the ones you want.
Be careful when you delete files because you will be directly modifying the registry and can cause serious problems that can corrupt your windows environment. Be sure to back up all your files/partitions in case you end up seeing the dreaded blue screen and windows will not load. Good-luck.
Normally you might first try to go to the control panel and the add remove programs. Look for finally fast or ascentive, and click on remove on the right hand side if it is visible. It should remove. If you still have a problem, let me know. randysvh2@***.com i will be more than happy to help you go through a manual process if still needed. You may have to go into msconfig and the startup tab and find anything related to the program and uncheck it, so it does not start.
Let me know if you still need help.
