Very helpful and kind. She listened to my circumstance, gave me all the information on what I need to do.

She took her time with explaining the process. Show me different options on what I can do for future.

Double payment requested for seat reservation

Fiji Airways - Double payment requested for seat reservation
Fiji Airways - Double payment requested for seat reservation - Image 2

Hi,

My name is Giancarlo Pacilio.

On August 15th, I have a flight from Nadi to HKG and HKG to Malpensa (booking reference TIP285).

I've reserved and paid 86.55 for seats (64A/65B) on the flight from HKG to Malpensa through the Cathay Pacific website by PayPal.

Through the Fiji Airways website, I would like to reserve seats on the route from HKG to Malpensa.

The application allows me to book seats on this route for 38 FJD and notifies me of the booking already made on the second route indicating that it is free-of-charge.

At the time of payment, I thought I would only pay 38 FJD, but instead, the application asks me to pay 86.55 + 38 FJD = 124.55!!!

--> Please see attached!!!

Having already paid for the seats on the second leg, how can I pay for the seats on the first leg only?

Your answer is important for me to have 2 seats side by side for my wife and me.

Thank you in advance.

Where is my flight compensation?

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

My partner and I volunteered to deplane due to an oversold flight situation. Initially, we were informed that we would each receive $500 in cash compensation.

However, upon disembarking, another staff member revised this to in-flight credit.

This discrepancy in communication raises concerns about Fiji Airways' commitment to fulfilling promises made to passengers.

Despite submitting all necessary details, including Submission Ref: [DBC-DGC|2024-0****]

The inconsistency in compensation terms and the lack of follow-up leave a disheartening impression. It's essential for airlines to uphold transparency and accountability in their dealings with passengers, especially in situations involving inconvenience and inconvenience.
