Spam and deceptive practices

They apparently acquired Tacoma RV's sales list of buyers and started sending me notifications for getting my annual inspection done. Not realizing the slight difference in names, I made an appointment. I show up at Tacoma RV to drop off my Fifth Wheel for the annual inspection, and they have no appointment for me. They realize what has transpired and were able to fit me in. I called Fife RV and asked them to take my name off their list. They have not done so, and this has been going on for a year.

User's recommendation: Don't buy anything at Fife RV Center.

Don't take rv to Fife RV in Fife Washington. TERRIBLE customer service.

First, we love our 2018 Bay Star 3401 and have driven across the US. While in Washington state contacted Fife rv, Newmar authorized repair, regarding leaking kitchen faucet. They requested photos and detailed explanation, which we did. Was told we would be contacted, waited 3 weeks and no contact. Sent *** emails that went no where, left phone messages that were not returned. Finally went back to dealer where purchased and they did a fantastic job of doing some small warranty repairs. We tried to work with Fife for 6 weeks to get repairs done, finally had to drive 400 miles back to where we bought.

Worst experience EVER

Bought fifth wheel last year at time if walk through mentioned items that were wrong then furnance gave out on first time using. After several emails phone calls complaints got to have it looked at, took 5 weeks after telling us 2, charged 90 to repair tire and 350 to f8x furnance, said hair got in furnance and no way to stop in fiture according to technicuan except leave dog at home. SO much for warranties. Reporting now to Prime time. Both batteries dead upon pick u0

Headache!!

more to come. I'm not sure where to even start!!! Absolute *** brand new 2018 lacrosse luxury.. i was enjoying my "luxury" when my t.v started smoking, then fire...after we complained about speakers many times.. now "WE" have to haul it back. AGAIN! after we did once already w SEVERAL other issues. Were told two different times speakers wiring were fixed. they never worked from day one (except one of the four), causing the wiring to over heat &LARGE issues. we bought & paid cash before summer..to use in summer..NOPE! headache is putting it mildly! that's just 1 of many!! I would never recommend this company. never. or the model we got.

We bought our RV last year from this place, what a mistake. After using 4 vacation days to take it back and 4 days vacation to haul it back in 1 year.

Now we take it back and they say since its a year old it's our problem even though we bought a 7 year extended warranty .It has done nothing but leak since we bought it. What a waste of 50k.

Never buy from here, anywhere has to be better than this. If you like overpriced crap then you have found your dealership.

SCAMMERS, LIARS, BAD SERVICE, ELDERLY DISCRIMINATION, DOESN'T KNOW LAWS

Update by user Aug 22, 2018

FIFE RV refunded me the $4,000.00 I paid for them to fix what they screwed up in the first place. We've owned the RV now for 2 years and now we can finally enjoy our purchase.

We still overpaid (our fault but they are good), they added to our contract gap insurance, extended warranty that doesn't cover anything.

And, they still have untrained technicians in the service department. They haven't changed the way they do business so word of caution!!

Original review posted by user Jul 23, 2018
Fife RV is either ignorant or blind to Consumer Protection Laws. During a sale they would ask you to pay for a PDI inspection of their vehicle - $5,000. If you refuse they will drop it down to $2,900. Question is what’s the difference between the 2 - nothing. Refuse to pay anything but tell them to do one but understanding if something is broken it will be fixed (NO AS IS DISCUSSED HERE). Law of liability says they have to guarantee safety and that the RV will work for it’s intended purpose. SAFETY ISSUE-service department said 1 of the multiplex mods 12 volt system was bad. If you could find parts they would be $500 each so they decided without approval to bypass and run new wiring. During the 3 months that they were retiring and doing the PDI another module went bad. This time they suggested they rewire that one too. We said sure - they’re the experts. NO THEY WEREN’T, they’re technician was NOT qualified to do such a job unbeknown to us. From purchase date of August 2016 to Feb 2018 we were able to use RV for 3 months until the the inverter went out in feb. FIFE RV says a mouse peeed on it burning it out. WAIT A MINUTE - liquid touching the inverter should have caused it to blow a fuse - not burning it up. Fix cost us $2,600 - but wait we have extended warranty-not covered per FIFE. We started wondering about the FIFE RV wiring work around. We would occasionally hear wires arching in the ceiling, the ceiling fantastic fan stopped working, rope lights in bathroom stopped working. We found 2 intellitech mods that cost $200.00 each and asked FIFE RV if they could put our wiring back to factory install condition. They didn’t like idea of using our parts but they were brand new. They agreed and first estimate was for 4 hours. After their technician looked at the mess their old/fired technician had done the estimate went up to 20-30 hours. Little did we know what was involved but they did. Two months later technician was done - oh my the estimate was right on-30 hours imagine that. BUT WAIT - they charged us 2.6 hours ($260) to check out passenger arm chair switches. We asked if he had problems there finding the right wires, his response was no one asked him too look at it - he didn’t touch it. They were making this thing up as they were going. RESULTS - after technician finished we had 1 light in the bedroom working and nothing else. Technician said he didn’t know where the water pump switch was or why nothing worked. So he couldn’t map the switches putting labels on them - oh well here’s your coach we did best we could. This is negligence pure and simple. It’s worst than before and they charged us $3,650.00 for making it worst. NOT ACCEPTABLE - we contacted M&M in OHIO who make the lighting system and they said they could fix it if we could get RV there. FIFE RV agreed to pay to fix if we paid 1/2 cost for a driver ($2,500) to take it there. Thank goodness we found closer and cheaper place to take it - REV COMPANY in Coburg, Oregon. Business Manager acted excited to hear it. We drove rv to REV CO. - their estimate was 8-10 hours and 2 days in their shop (not 3 months). It took them 18 hours and cost $2,600. FIFE RV refused to pay anything more than 8 hours worth. REV said it took longer because they found bare powered wires arching in the ceiling. They had to track them down - see what they belonged to and connect them. They also had to totally undo what FIFE goofed up. Apparently FIFE only replaced 1 mod, the other one still needed replacing. Back at FIFE RV - we asked to be reimbursed for the difference we paid FIFE VS COST FOR REV TO FIX IT RIGHT PLUS PRICE OF GAS. This came up tp $1,192. After being humiliated by Clint Mock during an hour conference, I also wanted an apology from him for calling me childish, deceiving us, hiding their negligence, costing us over $13,000 over and above our coaches original cost. He said you can’t blame us for what the old owners did to you, we are new ownership. I said BS, look at all complaint sites, you have customers complaining about the same issues under new as you did old owners. Both old and new owners are deceitful, condescending, descriminating against old folks because it’s too hard for us to fight BIG BAD WOLF BUSINESS. I ALSO WONDER IF THEY GET KICKBACKS FROM BANKS. We paid $0 down on our purchase and paid more than it was worth. Only way the bank came out whole in this deal is FIFE RV added to our loan $1,200 and called it GAP INSURANCE. I think this covered the bank they had nothing to lose. Once FIFE RV discovered this RV had HUGE issues they should NEVER HAVE SOLD IT. FIFE RV should be required to live within the confines of CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS. I BELIEVE THEY NEED TO TAKE CLASSES FOR SERVICE, BUSINESS, SALES AND OWNERS ON WHAT THE LAWS ARE. UNTIL THEN I’M ASKING TO BE MADE WELL FROM DEALING WITH THESE PEOPLE. AMOUNT PURCHASE PRICE $171k, $13,000 to fix problems that shouldn’t have existed. There’s another $25k they cheated us out on our trade-in. Total would be $208k. I won’t even ask Clint Mock for the apology he owes me. I expect to continue letting everyone who will listen to stay away from them - maybe I can get reimbursed by causing them a huge loss until they change their practices. PLEASE SEE BBB COMPLAINT NUMBER 1298****. RECEIPTS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST. PLEASE HELP TO MAKE SURE NO ONE ELSE CAN LOSE THEIR LIFE SAVINGS BY BEING FIFE RV’S SUCKER LIKE I WAS.

Well FIFE RV has made it right per the BBB. FIFE RV gave us back our $3,500 that we paid them to fix their screw up from the beginning.

Another company fixed their screw up-so FIFE RV is now a company in good standing. I now see that what you read on the BBB site you have to take with a grain of salt. FIFE RV cheated us from the beginning. If we hadn't purchased from them we would have saved $208k.

If you decide to buy from them KNOW WHAT YOUR TRADE IS WORTH, KNOW WHAT YOU'RE BUYING IS WORTH - CHECK NADA/KELLY BLUE BOOK. RESEARCH AS MUCH AS YOU CAN, TAKE YOUR TIME - FIFE RV ISN'T THE ONLY LOT WITH RV'S. IT'S YOUR MONEY BE SMART WITH IT PLEASE. ONCE YOU'VE SIGNED YOUR SATISFACTION DOESN'T MATTER TO THEM.

IF YOU'RE NOT CAREFUL YOU COULD BE THE NEXT DISSATISFIED/SATISFIED CUSTOMER.

I WILL SAY LASTLY THAT CONSUMER'S LAWS NEED TO BE ENFORCED SOMEHOW. I FEEL OUR DREAM HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO A VIRUS THAT IS NAMED "FIFE RV".

Keystone trailer

Done buy a keystone product from them... they will not stand behind it, they are no longer a keystone certificated company. Now I am stuck with t a trailer that needs factory work with no place to take it. They made all kinds of promises about good service when we where buying but when it comes time to take it then said... sorry you are on your own. I called Keystone factory and they told me to take it to Sunset RV, Baydo RV, or Paul Everts RV for service work. Sunset RV will not take it either, and Baydo is scheduling out 3 months. I sure hope that Paul Everts will call me back or I am on my own with a brand new trailer.

GOES TO SHOW YOU THEY WANT YOUR MONEY, THEY KNEW THEY WEREN'T AN AUTHORIZED KEYSTONE SERVICE PROVIDER, BUT THEY TOOK YOUR MONEY ANYWAY WITHOUT EXPLAINING IT.

Hi - we had the same issue. We bought in February and needed warranty work by our first trip I.

April. They called and cancelled our Fife appointment for June. We had no choice but to make an appointment then for September with Baydos. They are the only ones we've found taking Fife buyers.

I'd recommend going there even though it's a long wait (if you haven't already). We found out from Baydos today that Fife lost their Keystone certification due to fraud and apparently there is a class action lawsuit for being sold a product Fife customers weren't actually getting.

You might want to look into it - I know we are! (PS we have a Bullet, too.)

Fife RV Never Again

I made appointment for 6/06/2016 to finish Warranty work that had been started. Told them I needed it back 7/02/2016. They didn`t order parts untill 7/08/16 , they stated 7/14/16 it would be done .7/27/16 still not done don`t have parts yet. They say they are making improvements on staff and training . From my side of the fence nothing has changed in the way anything is being done for customer service after buying the Forrest River Product March of 2015. Slide out isn`t square in the opening . A Countertop and stove fitting correctly , I repaired it they couldn`t . I`ve had 16 items on the list alot of them I repaired because the tecks couldn`t and the service reps and staff have changed 4 times in the past year ,but nothing else has

consignment of new 2014 Bullet Premier

Put trailer on consignment with Kevin Knowles for 60 days. they couldn't tell me why no activity. Showed up 9/20/15.trailer was used as a parts unit for there own use. Contacted Daneille LeighKing TV she went into action. interviewed us and Bobby from Fife RV. Televised on Feb 22 and 23. It took 6 months to repair. Bobby blamed all but mgmt and owners neglect. The only reason Fife "bought" back the unit was because of Danielle. Like Bobby said it had nothing to do with her. Why didn't they buy it back before then?????? Call her, she'll take action, 206-448-****. We have to stop these kind of people. now!!!!!! They are crooks....

"Sale" of our 2014 Premier Bullet

Our trailer was finally put back the way it was consigned to Fife RV on 1/2/16. (6 months later.) We contacted King TV, Danielle Leigh. she interviewed us in our trailer on 1/4. I received a call from Bobbie (Sales Mgr.) to say he has a buyer while we were being interviewed. I didn't read each "document" but did ask what they read. (MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS READ BEFORE YOU SIGN). Danielle interviewed Bobbie also. It was televised Feb 22nd and 23rd. Alot of reasons and excuses mentioned. We agreed on a price thinking the trailer was sold to a customer, another lie. Fife "bought the trailer back". Kevin Carl, owner called to ask what else I wanted, nothing as I mentioned they buy it back in the letter to Kevin, when I suggested they buy to Bobbie, he said that won't happen. We are seniors, late seventies and put through ***. Shame on FIFE RV. Reading there current complaints and concerns customers have addressed, they are all true, they need to be held accountable, still having current comments made on their integrity and honesty. Bobbie says new people have been brought in to make sure these negative things stop. Guess what! It has to start at the top with the "owner's" and "management." When Bobbie was asked if dealing with King TV had anything to do with them offering to buy back the trailer, he replied no, they did it due to what we had to go through. and it was the right thing to do.If you have any problems with this company, call Danielle Leigh at King TV. I'm confident without her we would not have ended up with any positive results. We've learned a good lesson the hard way, thanks to Fife RV.

A lot of talk not a lot of follow through

Fife RV, very nice and courteous when it comes to the sale of the RV. After the sale......it's nearly impossible to get them to return your call or address any concerns. When you do get someone on the phone or stop by in person......they will listen nicely and tell you they will talk to owner or whoever they need to and call you back and never do. Bottom line, they left us with the impression that once they got the sale, they don't care! They will say they do, but their actions don't show it. You can only hear, they are really busy, so many times. Keith in finance was the only one that I would give praise to. Whats one of the rules to satisfy a customer? Exceed their expectations. Fife RV didnt even meet ours. Let me explain, first, we were told we'd have a walk through of our RV, never got it. Said we didnt get the PDI, but we were told we'd have some sort of walk through.....more than once. Never got it and we had a full tank of *** to dump of whoever's it was prior to us purchasing and when dumping the ***, the lever wasnt properly closed so it shot out all over the place. Now, if we'd had our WALK THROUGH and they did their job making sure the RV was ready for us, we wouldnt have had to wade through @#!*% . The RV wasnt ready for pick up when promised and delayed and when finally told ready, it wasnt. Bought the new RV packet which included membership to RV campsites, took me about 8 times to get that set up as no one new what I had bought at the K&M resort company. The RV packet we received at time of pick up was incomplete, RV was not fueled up as promised, detail job inside and out was horrible. Said we owed $100 more on the tabs, when we paid cash down to cover it all and then some. Because of the pick up issues at the Bonney Lake location, Fife RV offered to compensate us a bit for the trouble. That took about 2 months to resolve and reasons for that is lack of call backs and then not giving what they promised. Finally in the end with a call stating Im about to write an online review that will be unfavorable, it was finally resolved. Now, we take the RV on it's first road trip for the 4th of July. Only to find out that there is something wrong with the power to engine when climbing hills....asked Fife RV for deal on diagnostic as we just bought it in April and this was first road trip.....but again, no call back after expressing they thought it was reasonable. Here we go again, thus the reason for me actually writing this unfavorable review. Will never go there again, we are and our family and friends are all RV'rs and we have a family member who was ready to buy, she said no way will she buy from Fife RV after our experience.

Not surprising with the management in this place..... I had outside deallings

With the manager of this facility.

A real piece of work.... Had me hold a vehicle for him without deposit.. Story after story..lie after lie... Waited around 3 days for this genious to show after he gave his word .

So not suprising that the service is unreliable and undependable.. Just like its management.
