Unscrupulous billing, nasty employees
- - I have two accounts, residential and commercial, for 15+ years.
- - They claimed an outstanding balance; I pay cash on delivery.
Did business with this co for over 15 years with two different accounts, one residential and one commercial, their billing practices are criminal. I went in to order propane today, and they said I had an outstanding balance which is a lie I am a cash costumer and pay in full for product at time of deliver.
they then informed they were just doing me a favor for 15 years and now I must pay rent for what they said was their tanks, as they said they owned the tanks.
I have never been approached with a contract or ever billed for rent for 15 years. My family has done business with this company for over 40 years and were never charged for tank rent. I had a leak and complained for two years finally after paying to have them come out twice at 300.00 a pop they fixed the leak, god knows how much propane leaked out and what that cost me.
The girl at the counter was a real B and did nothing but kept adding charges to my account as I attempted to get my propane when she found out I had run out. it was -10f deg outside.
Preferred solution: since it's minus 10f degrees and I have no propane I am seeking punitive damages. I refuse to do business with a company that uses my misery to extort money from me.
