AI Highlights
  • - Bought a used Mini Cooper 6 months ago.
  • - Top and other functions failed; module replaced.
  • - They want half price; I think it should be covered.

I bought a used Mini Cooper 6 mons ago. The convertible top stop working, signal lights, windows, door lock.

I found out that the module went back which is considered a recall. The manufacture warranty was extended therefore they replace the module but they couldn’t get the top to go up. So now they want to charge me half . I shouldn’t be responsible for a car that’s on warranty.

So what the dealer is saying that since the module stop working when the top was down and it rained I’m responsible that is not how you make business. I was planning on buying a new mini but after this issue I don’t think so.

I regret buying this car. Hey
