Delivery Person Does not show for two Days and claims i was not home

AI Highlights
  • - FedEx driver claimed I wasn't home, but I was.
  • - I'm 70; the package is heavy and I can't lift it.
  • - Prepaid return; seeking refund.

On Tuesday I stayed home all day waiting for feb ex to pick up my package, from 8 am to 6 pm. after 6 pm I called to find out where he was, They told me the driver claims I was not home.

This was not true, i have video cameras all over my home and two dogs that would alert me loudly. So they rescheculed it again to today, again i called the service dept and they asked again, the driver indicated again I was not home. This is so not true, the driver did not show up, otherwise, my dogs would have alerted me and I would have a video of anyone approaching my property/house! I think the driver made up this excuse as he may have been too busy, but this is the second day he claimed i was not home.

This package is too heavy for me to lift around, as I am 70 years old. There should be disiplinary action for this driver, i even comfirmed my address. If fed ex does not pick up this package soon, as it is a return, I will be not be allow to return for a refund. This to so unfair how I have been treated!.

The customer service tried to correct this but was unable.

What is Fed Ex going to do about this??? Probly nothing. I won't be dealing with Feb Ex Canada again if I can help it. This is unacceptable service from the Driver.

This was prepaid!

Do I get a refund having to stay home now three days? You you going to pay my lost salary?

User's recommendation: Having items picked up from your location is not happening. This issue has happened to me every time i use Fed Ex. and this was prepaid

Online Technical Jams

AI Highlights
  • - Federated Canada POS printer jams and is unreliable.
  • - Two days after setup, transactions fail and peak hours break; online processing is slow.

POS terminal by Federated Canada comes with a poor printer. It often jams up.

This has been affecting my business badly.I purchased a POS for my retail store last week. The system worked fine for two days but ever since we’ve had trouble with each transaction we make. It broke down twiceduring peak hours. I think it cannot handle transactions in quick succession.

I integrated online payment processing system, by Federated Canada, with my ecommerce website. The system takes a long time to process a single transaction.

Despite a number of complaints the issue has not be fixed by the company. Pathetic technical support!

Technical Glitches

AI Highlights
  • - Federated Canada POS system glitches frequently.
  • - PIN pad swipe not working; wants refund.
  • - System goes blank; service provider disappointed.

The POS system that I use for my restaurant by Federated Canada encounters glitches frequently. This is affecting my business badly.

Looking to switch over to another service provider. Any suggestions? It seems Federated Canada is shipping out faulty products these days. I got a PIN pad from the service provider couple of days ago.

I was surprised to find that swipe feature was not working at all. I want my money back! I bought a POS system from Federated Canada last week.

The system keeps going blank every now and then. The service provider disappointed me a lot

Bulldozing the clients

AI Highlights
  • - Federated Canada pressured us into signing.
  • - We switched to a cheaper provider, and two months later we were billed and cancellation was not processed.

Must warn fellow merchants against entering into a deal with Federated Canada, they can bulldoze you into signing a contract. You’ll feel the jolt when they begin to send invoices with inflated bills.

Our firm had been working with Federated Canada for a while but then another provider was willing to offer similar services at much lower rates. Naturally we decided to switch. And that is precisely what we did. After 2 months we started receiving bills.

On being contacted the guys at Federated informed us that our account was still functional; that one of our staff members called them and asked them to hold the cancellation process! They continued to charge us through the period when we were fighting to get the account closed.

Installed a POS system (Federated Canada) for my garment store, the keys of the last row on its PIN pad are not working. How do I get it fixed?

It seems the sales representatives are specially trained to *** unsuspecting businessmen into contracts. The agreement terms are not transparent.

Made frantic calls to the support staff at Federated Canada since we had an emergency situation on board!

AI Highlights
  • - Took 15+ calls to reach support and a day to fix.
  • - They billed for service despite free efforts.
  • - POS charges doubled and funds not transferred.

Made frantic calls to the support staff at Federated Canada since we had an emergency situation on board! Guess what?

It took a minimum of 15 calls to get through to the first level exec! It took an entire day for them to fix the problem and the icing on the cake was, they send a bill for the service (which mind you wasn’t a small amount) with the next bill.

This when we were given to understand that the first few service efforts would be free! Also they slapped double charges on customers using the POS terminals and did not even transfer the funds to my friends’ account.
