Unethical behavior
- I hired and paid Attorney Redacted to handle my appeal.
- She ignored emails about fees and only reconnected on 2/6/25, then stole my retainer.
I contacted and then carefully consulted with Attorney Faye Arfa. I then hired and paid her to handle the appeal for my case.
She then disappeared and refused to answer any calls or emails. We are discovering that Attorney Fay Arfa has done this to other unsuspecting clients as well.
This is by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an attorney! And I want to protect others from this fraudulent behavior.
Even though she had already told me she had a case load, she still agreed to handle my case, and so I moved forward with her. Immediately after, on 12/19/24, I sent her an email to summarize our discussions and get clarity on her ongoing fee moving forward. She ignored my email. I then emailed again on 12/12/24, asking, "Did you receive my last email?
I never got a response," to which she still refused to answer. She then never communicated with me again until I called and spoke with her office on 2/6/25. Stole my retainer, ruined my case, and then lied about following through. We are discovering that Attorney {{Redacted}} has done this to other unsuspecting clients as well.
This is by far one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an attorney! And I want to protect others from this fraudulent behavior.
