Verified Reviewer |Ripped off a nonprofit
- The plan advertised unlimited members, but charged $55 per phone number.
- I paid about $1,300/year.
- Refund was denied.
- We are nonprofit.
When researching the services of Fax.plus, the subscriptions describe that an organization can have unlimited members added to the plan. So I paid for that subscription, which was over a grand per year.
After paying and signing up, I realized they scammed me and were charging $55 per phone number so that each of my remote staff could have a number. Members are not included in the price. When I reached out to customer service to let them know I deleted my account immediately, they said they will not be refunding my purchase of $1,300. We are a nonprofit, so every bit counts, but I am also trying to equip my team with the best ways to serve the people we serve.
I should have known when there was no phone number that this is a scam.
I will also be reporting to BBB. Avoid this service!
- Scam

Verified Reviewer |Fax.Plus took my $52.98 and I got nothing in return
- Fax.Plus failed: Insufficient Credit on a 12-page PDF.
- Credits total $52.98; no fax transmitted.
- No support contacts found, seeking a refund.
Also: I tried another fax number which US Bank gave me, 1-866-229-****, and attempted to send the fax via Fax.Plus that way. This did not work either.
The Fax.Plus Outbox showed the message "Sending ..." for a minute or so, then went blank.
Now the Fax.Plus screen does not even show that I tried to send a fax using that fax number.I gave up at that point and drove to FedEx to have them send the fax, which they did quickly and without any problem. I will never use Fax.Plus again.
The only response I received from Fax.Plus was the screen response "Failed (Insufficient Credit)". The response did not indicate how much credit was needed or what to do. I found the Fax.Plus tab that allows one to add credit, and submitted a credit amount of $17.99, which was the smallest amount listed on the tab. I received an email from something called Alohi.com saying I now have $17.99 credit, so I hit "Resend" on my fax, and this time received the screen response "Failed (No fax detected)".
I went back to the original fax, deleted the PDF file, re-attached the same PDF file, added $34.99 in credit, and hit "Resend". Same result - "Failed (No fax detected)" Again I received no email from Fax.Plus or anyone else on this, and no message on what to do to remedy it. The Fax.Plus screen now shows that I have $52.98 in money credits (i.e. 17.99 plus $34.99).
The fax never went through.
None of the screens or messages that I see indicate how to contact Fax.Plus customer support or Alohi customer support. The one thing they did do with utmost speed was take $52.98 in credits from my bank account. Since Fax.Plus did not transmit my fax after my multiple attempts, and I received no information on how to fix this, I hit "Redeem" on the Fax.Plus screen to try to get my credit money back. The screen then asked for my "Redeem Code".
Nothing that I received from Fax.Plus or Alohi gives me a redeem code. Google indicates that the Redeem tab refers only to gift coupons.
I am unable to contact anyone at Fax.Plus or Alohi. I want my $52.98 refunded to me. Nobody contacted me about any of this, other than the automatic emails that Alohi had accepted my money credits.
Due to the above, I suspect that Fax.Plus is a scam.
If it is not, someone please contact me at my email account and let me know how I can recover my $52.98 in credits, or alternately how to get my fax transmitted to the US Bank fax number that is indicated on my fax instructions.
If I do not receive a constructive response from Fax.Plus, I will send my complaint elsewhere.

Verified Reviewer |Lab sent a fax by error every 1-2 minutes for a day and a half causing my bill to be over $500 and they wont respond to my pleas for a phone call to come to a solution
- Labs kept failing to fax due to FaxPlus errors.
- FaxPlus emailed every 1-2 minutes unless upgraded.
- Blocking FaxPlus email stopped panic value lab results.
So they said that since irefused to pay extra money for the 1400 copies of one lab report, that they would not send any more fax reports until the end of April then I could start freak on May 1 and get500 pages per month as per my contract but here it is May 1 and numerous faxes that I have confirmed were sent to me, yet no email fax reports received. So they lied to me about resuming service and now I have to spend all day tomorrow to see if they charged my credit card for May.
lab kept trying to send a fax because FAXPLUS kept giving them an error message yet faxplus kept sending me an email every 1-2 minutes unless i upgraded to pay for these thousands of copies of 1 page of labs on 1 patient.
I had to block faxplus from my email so i can do business with my email but now my patients with panic value lab results are not getting to me.
Faxplus is putting my patients in danger and refuse to speak to me.
This is going to ruin my medical practice.
- When it works its great
- Chat bot is useless and they wont call
- No way to fix a problem
- Have no us address so i have no idea if the one you forced m
Preferred solution: not get charged for the thousands of copies of one page they are trying to send me and a phone number to get help as this would have prevented this from endangering my patients

There is no number to reach, customer service is non-existent! They are based in Europe and good luck reaching anyone except by email and 3 days later!
- Poor customer service
- No number top reach
Preferred solution: They are porting the wrong number even after I asked them not to do so and revoke the authorization.

I never heard of such services so I had to research. The only thing unlimited (aside from cloud storage) was number of members/staff under an Enterprise plan.
Maybe since I’m not an office worker it was obvious to me that this meant members/staff at a physical office/central location. Not remote staff.
