I called the number and told that the company dealt with FF promotions but couldn't help with anything else. I then called another number for customer services and spoke to a really helpful friendly call handler who sorted my question so 5 stars for her

My shopping for ChristmasThis is the morning of the 24th of December 2024. At 8.55 am I stood outside the fat face shop in Ludlow Shropshire UK..

on the door to enter your shop the only sign was to show keep the door closed to help the environment and keep the Shop warm no sign saying opening times and closing times over the festive season. I waited till 9:10 am for the door to open. In the meantime, 12 other people some on them on their own , others as a couple and a group of 6 people all came to the door and asked me are they open and I replied not yet so they moved on to other shops that were open. Eventually, a member of staff came and opened the door and asked me what did I want?

I replied Ive seen an outfit ( it was about £250.00)I wanted to buy for my wife for Christmas. She informed me they wasnt open yet. The member of staff in question who was very professional,polite and apologetic informed me they are not open till 9:30 am and re-close the door and went about her way and left me standing there at the door. So I had no choice but to take my business elsewhere.

The 13 groups of people that is including myself I wonder how many sales they lost out on in that period of 15 minutes of people thinking they will be open before nine or nine onwards knowing most probably they will be closed by four being Christmas Eve. Im politely sending this message as an observational marketing point of view being a self-employed person myself knowing what it means to have a customer spend money your way. I hope this is some help in improvement in customers marketing, experience , relationship and services and please dont take this as a criticism, just an observation of a situation as a customer, . For what is left of the festive silly season.

Preferred solution: That my time to write to say what I have said help a little to create a happy/ positive environment to working and create greater profit

User's recommendation: Think like you are the customer wanting individual quality not like just one of a sales team looking at being fake/false etc, etc. just for a sale . Look and think out side the box not just in the box for greater sales by think and acting well in advance. paul

The hours (opening today at 9:30am and closing at 3pm) are posted online.

If you could not wait fifteen minutes, that is sad. No one needs your opinion of when they should open. You wasted more than fifteen minutes going elsewhere and deciding on another gift.
