Terrible customer service

I had my site go down -again.. while trying to get it up I somehow managed to renew my domain and they charged me 3 separate times. I called to get a credit and was told they couldnt credit me - I have it renewed now for 5 years- I am 68 and retiring next year- plus after my site crashed again will not continue with fatcow.

Domain on Hold Without Resolution

We have responded to every email and request and they have kept our website on hold for a week now. We have just filed a complaint on ICANN'S website because they have exceeded the guidelines for a registrar's timeframe to resolve an issue. Their customer service keeps telling us that we'll get a phone call from the ownership team within 24 hours, and that has not happened yet.

Take money on PayPal for no service. DO NOT USE THEM

I initially purchased all materials from FatCow in order to setup my website and paid for a year subscription for hosting. In the end I did nothing and never used their services or materials. One year later they took an additional $97 for a further year of hosting and refuse to reimburse me. I have contacted them twice and they don't bother to reply. Not a nice company to do business with. I would not recommend them to anyone. It surely cannot be legal to take money for providing no service. What has happened to morals and ethics? Why do businesses think it's OK to rip people off? They know there is nothing I can do so they don't even bother to respond. PayPal are not involved because, for them, it was a legitimate transaction.

Receiving spam after registering

After I registered for WordPress hosting with FatCow, I get spammed every day with ads from companies I don't even know about my website, and their all from FatCow. I am very upset about this. Can Any one help me closing down, suing or making this company work? Please

These guys are PATHETIC and As****les both to the last word. They have a setup in USA and provide a chat support from INDIA. While the chat support are sitting robots who got only defined lines and know nothing else. While their so called specialists do nothing but create trouble in your database and then hide in the FAT Cows *** not replying to almost 15 to 20 days over a urgent matter. I am loosing my business and REPUTATION coz they simply put their FAT COW's *** page bringing down your website and make you run every where and then charge you by selling some service stating that to be the reason of your sites getting down. What else can a pissed customer do when trouble for over years of hardship? They do not care to respond and give an attitude if you sound pissed. Wow ... Just great, actually they need a kick in their fat cow's *** They sold me many things and worst of all their VPS server is worse than their already worse shared server. The VPS never sends your customer emails to your email address so that way you can never do a business with your business on these SH*****les servers. Can anyone imagine having 20 sites not sending any email at all no matter what you do, all have different cpanels so how come none send anything out?

Resolved: FatCow Webhosting Over Charged me by $110 for my annual Domain Name Renewal

I had authorized FatCow Webhosting to take out $16.99 a year from my bank account, to keep my domain name current. I noticed on my bank statement that they had taken out $131.00 this time. I went to the website and logged in to find out what had happened. I was able to pull up the charge, but it did not tell what the charge was for other than saying it was the "FatCow Plan" and that was all. I could not find how to see what i had been charged for, without my authorization! When I contacted customer service, this is what they had to say: Shwetha B: Shall I cancel hosting from the account and refund $131.88 to your card? Steve Hula: How do I go in and cancel this myself? I have been trying but do not see any way to do this? FatCow: You can't do from your end. I can do it. Steve Hula: Yes, as I have said, please only charge me the $16.99 that I had authorized for the 1 year renewal of my Domain Name.

FatCow would not refund my payment.

FatCow.com used to be the host for my website. I repeatedly found them to be very slow. If I'd change the site sometimes it would take 15 minutes for the change to show online. And more than once their server was down which meant my site was down. Complaining to them did no good so I transferred my domain to one of their many competitors. Then they refused to reimburse the advance payments I had made. Explaining to them that I transferred to another host because of their bad service and because of that they should refund my money did no good. They said it was their policy not to issue me a refund and there was nothing they could do about it.

Never. I lost $300 there. I bought some accounts then they deleted them without any notification and no refund. I created some disputed on Paypal But PP did not help me.

Fat Cow Express, lino Alvarez and wife Christina are a BAD JOKE. tHEY TOOK $1800 OF MY MONEY AND THERE IS NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT.

THEY DID NOT SHOW UP TO WORK, NOR CALL, WOULD CALL AND MAKE EXCUSES. tHIS WENT ON FOR 5 MONTHS UNTIL THEY QUIT ANSWERING AND DROPPED THEIR E-MAIL. fATCOW EXPRESS.COM.

nOW THE DONA ANA CO., NM HAS A FILE NUMBER ON THEM FOR A FELONY. YOU SHOULD POST THIS SO NO ONE ELSE GETS TAKEN BY THESE CROOKS.

FATCOW Irreputable Business Practices

Fatcow failed to say that it's system does not support Explorer -- an important detailed not found anywhere on its site. Had to sign up to find this out, so cancelled my account within 5 minutes of signing up. It took me three months to get my full refund back. Customer Service reps will not let you talk with a manager. When you request to talk with a manager they put you on hold and then never come back. This occurred in January 2013. Now they are trying to bill me for services in January 2014. Also found out that they put all my personal information on the web, even though, when I first signed up I paid the additional cost NOT to have this appear. FatCow is part of The Endurance International Group, Inc.

Fatcow.com lied I lost $1400

fatcow.com said that someone wihin the USA could help me desighn a website Learned the guy was from India When I tried to cancel, I was told that I could not cancel Learned they lied again. Run!!!! Don't lose money like I did. They will tell u whatever it takes to get u to spend money there, and then u will quickly learn that they don't help at all and can totally get away lying to you. Use another program because otherwise you will learn the hard way that you just lost a lot of money too!

FatCow overcharged, did not honor "full refund" offered by rep.

Have had several problems with FatCow. Was initially overcharged for a domain name. Was supposed to be "free" with webhosting. (Fifteen dollar fee, offset by $15.00 credit.) Was actually charged $20.00 and never received any credit. Next, website was suddenly shutdown. (Supposedly something with my personal information didn't "look right".) In view of problems so early in the game, decided to ask for a refund under the "30 day money-back guarantee". Didn't pursue the overcharge mentioned above as a separate issue, since I expected to get a full refund. Service rep was nice and seemed very helpful. Asked if I wanted to keep the domain name. When I responded with a "no", she indicated I would be getting a full refund since they would not have to keep the name active for me to transfer. Thought everything was taken care of. Not so. The initial credit to my account was less than half the amount of the original charge. Made multiple attempts to resolve the situation (4 calls and 2 emails). Each time the service rep seemed to have little or no knowledge of the outcome of the previous contacts with the company. (Even when I included past documentation with new inquiries.) At this point, it looks like I am going to have to "eat" $28.99. Twenty dollars is the overcharge (which they seem to have absolutely no interest in correcting, now that I'm no longer a customer) and $8.99 fee to keep my personal information private for a year (on a domain name which no longer exists). So beware. The FatCow 30 day money back guarantee does not include any "extras" or correction of overcharges. (Even if the "extras" were for a year's service on a website which does not exist.) And do not believe what a service rep tells you regarding refunds. The FatCow bookkeepers will make the numbers whatever they want, no matter what you were told. If you were like me and thought better of FatCow, you may end up disappointed.
