I am a new patient and unfortunately I will not be going back to them!!!! The office manager is so rude and nasty. When she doesn’t feel like talking to you any more she will hang up on you. This is not the first time this has happened. I have place a complaint with my insurance carrier. Stay away from this office you will regret it!!!! Wtf

Complete Negligence

I went here for an annual physical, as I do every year. I received my blood work results 2.5 weeks after I went to the lab, which is way too long. When I finally received a call about my results, it was a short and very confusing phone call. She informed me that I have high platelets and to come back in three months. I asked, “how high”, “why should I wait three months” and “are there any foods to avoid/eat”. She responded “I don’t know.” So I asked to speak to the doctor (Karen). She said she was busy and would call me back. The whole day past and I did not here from her. The next day I called and left 3 messages, 2 with secretaries and one on her voicemail, still nothing. The next day I did the same, again, nothing. After three days of trying to contact my doctor I decided to go in and get the lab results myself. The woman printed out my lab results and I took them home. When I got home I realized these were the results from last year. My last year results said I had high platelets as well, which I NEVER was informed of (my last year doctor was Felipe). I went back to next day to speak to my doctor and ask why I wasn’t informed about my high platelets last year. The only person at the office was a very friendly and overwhelmed employee. She informed me the doctor called out today. I asked her to print my new report from this year, which also stated I have high platelets. She told me the girl who reported to me the first day, quit that day, and she should not have told me to come back in three months, she should have told me to see a hematologist. So, now I have had high platelets for over a year with no idea because of the incompetent staff and doctors of Farmingville Family Medicine. It is safe to say, I will never go back.

Farmingville Family Medicine - Medical Care Review from Farmingville, New York

My wife went to Farmingville Family Medicine for treatment and relief of back pain which is excruciating. The prescription given for pain was given yesterday to our local CVS but was not released because CVS needed to speak to the doctor. My wife suffered through all of last night and called Family Medicine this morning a 9 AM asking them to please call CVS and get the prescription released. It is now 12 noon and the doctor has yet to call CVS back. I called and got a snotty reply from the receptionist saying the doctor is too busy seeing other patients to make the call - even though my wife needs some relief!!! Unbelievable!!!!
