AI Highlights
  • - Ordered from FarmFoods Market; site said UPS only.
  • - They refused to cancel or switch to UPS.
  • - Package shipped via FedEx and on its way back.

Absolute nightmare, before the order was even shipped. On 09/28/2020, I placed an online order with FarmFoods Market, which shows as being based in Los Altos, CA, USA.

I ordered from them specifically because on the site it stated that they only ship using UPS (they added FedEx to the webpage about an hour after I asked to cancel my order, I DID get a screenshot, thank goodness). I no longer order from companies that use FedEx, due to ongoing unresolved issues. Anyway, after getting an email from FarmFoods, stating that the order was being packaged and would be shipped soon via FedEx, I contacted them, letting them know that I ordered because of the statement that they only use UPS, and to please cancel my order or switch the shipper to UPS. They refused.

I explained the situation further, they still refused. At that stage, the shipping label had printed, but FarmFoods still had the package. I have full documentation of it all. Even the FedEx tracking shows FedEx did not have it at that time.

I pointed out all that, as well, yet they still refused to cancel it or change the shipping. They used the excuse that they’d have to go through too many boxes to pull the order. They should have thanked me for bringing attention to THEIR mistake on their website, then canceled the order, and credited my card. My credit card company is now on the case and this deceived person is not buying from FarmFoods again.

The package is in the hands of FedEx, on its way back to FarmFoods, per instructions from my credit card issuer. Advice for myself and others… always check Better Business Bureau ratings before purchasing, as I was alarmed at what I found on 10/01/2020.

User's recommendation: Do not buy from this company, unless you are willing to take a big risk.
