Store Layout

About a year ago I took a job which made the Fareway on Mills Civic in WDM an option as I drive home. Upon first entering the place it looked confusing.

The store layout was not like any I had ever seen before. I'm used to having either right or left handed entry into the produce department. This store has none of that. After a year of trying to get used to the layout, not being able to find anything specific I'm looking for and getting a less than American Stay welcome attitude from the employees who work there; I've thrown in the towel.

I just can't find anything.

It all seems disorganized and in the wrong place. Off to Hy Vee.

I had a slip and fall in their store two Fridays ago and I'm a 50-year-old man I walked in and walked across in front of their ATM to get to the back of the store through the self-checkout aisle and as soon as I hit the floor I slipped busted my head off the floor and that's myself up pretty bad and when I looked up and reached my hand up for somebody to help me there were six employees standing about 16 in front of me and not one single one came over to offer any aid help or even bothered to ask if I was okay they actually stood there and rode their eyes at me because customers going to get past me to get out through the exit door after I picked myself up and asked for a manager was I hobbled back to talk to the manager and it was a young kid and he had no idea what to do and the only thing he said to me is I have no idea what you're talking about I mean I've never been so humiliated or so devastated in my life I've been a customer there for 4 years and I have had several incidences where the younger workers there Will roll their eyes at you when you ask them to get you something from behind the counter I've been cussed at by an employee because I didn't know how to operate the self-service aisle properly or quick enough for her I guess and she told me if you don't know how to even work these you shouldn't be *** back here anyway and so I hurt myself pretty bad and went to the doctors you know and I got home and it's just relaxing and not one single person from fairway ever reached out to ask me if I was okay I called the corporate office to let them know how outrageous the treatment of an older man falling and hurting himself in their store and all they had to say was it wasn't their responsibility I was negligent because there should have been a carpet down there was no carpet there there was no sign there and how rain blew in through two automatic doors to get inside the stores beyond me and not only was a 50 year old customer humiliated hopeless because to have all these young kids standing around me that work there not even one come over to grab my hand to help me up or ask me if I was okay or if there's anything they could do they just left me lay there roll their eyes at me like I said and then acted like I couldn't get up off the floor fast enough so their customers could get out the exit door I've never been more humiliated or more disrespected in my life but this fairway store is known for it going 4 years now and don't listen to their commercial the family friendly they're there to serve their customers and they have the best prices and the best customer care there is cuz it's a lie the commercial is a lie they put profit over customer care and they put their disrespectful employees over their customers comfortability where what makes your store we are the reason why your store operates cuz we are the ones that spend our hard earned money at your store and to be treated like that and to be disrespected and to be and for a 50 year old man to have to pick himself up off the floor I mean for 50 years old when you bust your head on the floor you don't heal like everybody else does when your body hits the floor that hard you don't feel like everyone else does it to not be taking care of or asked if there's anything that they could do if they could please help me up call an ambulance nothing to be looked at like that with such disrespect and such lack of sympathy my next step is to go to the news I'm going to go to the new station because I have talked to there corporate several times on incidences at their store and nothing ever gets done and I get blamed for slipping and falling and hurting myself in their store and their employees doing nothing about it something has to be done and I'm not going to let this go my next step is to contact the new station let them know what happened go to the store support a store that actually cares about their customers and not about their bottom line and can they hide their negligence

Preferred solution: There needs to be some compensation made I hurt myself their employees were negligent laughed at a 50 year old man that hurt himself and busted his head off the floor and didn't offer any aid whatsoever
