Fraudulent charges

My mother booked an experience with one of Fareharbor's clients :Dream Balloon Flights. The Dream Balloon Flights has been wonderful, but the billing has been horrible.

My mother was charged full price on 3/24 and a second full price charge on 4/5 We disputed the second charge through Discover, who temporarily reversed the charge. Fareharbor turned around and stated that the second charge was authorized, as my mom gave them her credit card information. There is no "paper trail" or evidence of her giving them the card number a second time. Therefore, Discover sided with them in the dispute and once again charged her card.

My mother is out $3600 with no answers. In addition, the ballon company had the $1800 taken from them, so fareharbor has taken $3600 from my mother and given $0 to the company who is providing the service.

Fareharbor refuses to communicate with me or my mom. This is an AWEFUL company, preying on my mother, who just wanted to go on a hot air balloon ride for her 80th birthday.

Appalling customer service with Christian

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

The company I work for uses Fareharbor for scheduling. I had a discrepancy on my schedule and called Fareharbor to find out if anyone was moved off my schedule or if there were any changes made without my awareness.

I was only looking for information regarding a specific date to determine exactly what had happened before discussing it with my management. Christian found my name and my record with the company, but then stated he was 'uncomfortable' providing me with information about my schedule! He blatantly refused to assist me and when I asked to speak with a manager, he denied me again. I expressed that I found it inappropriate for him to refuse my request to speak to a manager.

He responded by claiming that I had no right to speak to one and became increasingly stubborn and aggressive, even raising his voice. At this point, I asked him if our conversation was being recorded and then hung up. I called back and filed a complaint with another team member. I found Christian's behavior inappropriate, rude, and extremely obnoxious.

He did not attempt to assist me with my issue in any way – in fact, he outright refused to do so. He denied me the opportunity to speak to the management team, insisted that I had no right to do so, and then became aggressive and rude, raising his voice to the point where I felt compelled to hang up and file a complaint.

This is hilarious that think a software company your employer uses has any responsibility to you, an employee of the company. First of all … grow a pair and talk to your boss.

Second of all … Fareharbor has nothing to to with your schedule or even the operation of the business you work in.

If your schedule changed it was your company who changed it. What a clown post this is.
