Horrible experience

Despite the company's representatives painting a picture of blissful travel and luxury experiences, my encounters with their services have left me disillusioned and disheartened. My partner and I were enchanted by the thought of our yearly European jaunts. Yet, the actual experience was a stark contrast to what was promised. Our initial stay in Rome was lackluster, marred by drab and outdated accommodations. The subsequent experience in Florence was so unbearable that we had to abandon our lodging for a hotel. The system's complexity and the minimal value offered have left me feeling cheated, often passing it on to friends out of sheer disappointment. In a bid to improve my experiences, I was advised to upgrade to the platinum tier, a decision I made during an emotionally difficult period following the loss of my son. However, this move only aggravated my sense of betrayal and increased my indebtedness to the company. It's become clear that I need to disengage from the company as soon as possible.

The only person I have been able to talk to as of late is Janice, who told me that I would have to pay off the entire ownership before anything could be done to help me. I was obviously not happy to hear this considering I had gone unanswered for months and was now being told that it did not matter anyway. She gave me the opportunity to speak with management, and I was told the same. Now that they have swapped over to this new company, I dont feel as though I should be held to any such requirement. I am willing to work with them, but they are not willing to work with ME. I am only in this ownership because I was lied to! They told me that maintenance fees would never increase. I would have this property as an investment. Also, that I would have access to these beautiful apartment that I was shown. As I am sure you can guess, none of this was true. I was pressured into making the decision right that moment. I wouldnt have time to think about it, and the deal would not be here when I returned, if I did take the time to think about it. This never should have happened at all. I just want to be free of it all.

I have been a part of this company since 2017. In all this time, I have yet to gain a positive experience with their staff/resorts. The units that I was shown are nothing like what was received. Instead, rooms were unclean and I saw roaches. Stayed three days in a corner suite without heat, they kept sending someone to fix it but eventually moved me to another room that was not as nice as where I was (which says a lot considering the quality of where I was). It seems like the weeks that I want are never available, but then you can log online and see the exact same units are available to those who are not owners! It is frustrating because I am the one paying the maintenance fees and will be even after I retire. If I can pay the exact same price for a room on Expedia, as booking through my ownership... Why would I not just do that and save myself all the trouble and maintenance fee payments? They dont seem to see it that way though because I was denied outright and am being ignored. I want out of this company ASAP!

This company has been very unresponsive and the customer support department is lacking. I only want to speak with someone after all the money that I have paid, and I thought for certain that would not be too much to ask. Therefore, you can imagine my disappointment when I found that it would be much more difficult to contact them than I thought. I am going to leave this elsewhere too, because I want this company to contact me so we can communicate further. I look forward to hearing from someone soon I hope

Need help getting out of Time Share

There is NOTHING that I owe this company, but somehow, there seems to be no desire to answer me at all. If I owed thousands of dollars, maybe I could understand why they would not help. But there has been nothing but loyalty here. All I am asking is that someone get back with me about how to get out of this. That is it. It has already been expressed that I do not feel like this company has been honest with me either. There have been multiple contacts that I have used, this is not our first review left, and still nothing. It is unprofessional and frustrating.

We have been in contact with FantaSea Resorts (now Boardwalk Resorts) about our ownership. This is not something that we wish to be in any longer, and we have tried to explain that to them. Unfortunately, they keep trying to tell us that we can only sell it or give it away. There is no money owed to them, so why would they not just let us sign it back over to them? It is a bit frustrating for this to be our problem for the rest of our lives. We are not sales people, and we do not work for FantaSea/Boardwalk. There has to be something that the people of this company can do in this situation so that we can give it back. One person we spoke with was Peter Lelli.. Maybe he does not have the authority to let us out, so is there someone else?

My son booked a room and paid for it since 5/22/2022 . He was there today at 2 pm and told the room was not ready. Went back at 4. Same thing. Had an engagement , so he had to leave for it without refreshing . No room available. Up to 6:30 they have not given a room. What lousy service . Shame on Fantasea resorts

Shoddy service

My son paid for a room since 5/22/2022 for the weekend of 6/17/22-6/19/22. When he got there around three he was told no room available, he checked back at for still no room available then at six. He had an appointment at a dinner reservation at 6 pm because of your shameful service was very late for that. That is despicable . He requested his money back to get another room elsewhere. I immediately put my shares up for sale. Such stink service is unforgivable.

Be careful buying Timeshares

Maintenance Fees are like a monkey or burden on your back. The collection agency are very nasty. All they want is money and they don't care how they get it. We received this timeshare from our mother as a wedding gift but we inherited a headache and sometimes disrespect! The fees increases every year. Here are the new fees for 2020 for Atlantic Place in Atlantic City, NJ MAINTENANCE Fee: $840.10 MAINTENANCE FEES ARE DUE UPON RECEIPT A $35 Late Fee will be added on January 16, 2020 for all contracts with an unpaid balance at the close of business on January 15, 2020. Neither Atlantic Palace nor Resort Condominium International (RCI) can accept reservations and/or vacation exchange requests unless all Maintenance Fees are current. If you have any questions, wish to make a payment, or need to obtain an updated contract balance, please call our Maintenance Fee Payment Center at (800) 477-**** or (609) 347-**** x8700, Monday through Thursday 9am to 9pm and Friday 9am to 4pm. I believe I signed up at an AMC movie cinema. Received a phone call, I won... I knew that was crap. Anyway I was told if we came down to a timeshare tour to see the hotel Flagship we would receive 4 free airline tickets on any airline, a free lunch buffet at Caesers in Atlantic City and some other items. Don't go it's a SCAM. When I received the phone call, I asked is everything absolutely FREE, they assured me it was. Although I suspected not. It rained the day of our appointment, I received a phone call asking if we were going. Again, I asked is everything absolutely FREE, they assured me it was. We felt we would take a ride, as we had no other plans. When we got there, the receptionist was a *** and rude. She assured me with her attitude that all was free also. Well the airline tickets have a CATCH, you must purchase hotel rooms with them otherwise it's worthless. This is clearly bait and switch and I complained vigorously and they sent over Heckle & Jeckle security. What A JOKE.. we were told to leave but we didn't, as I called the police. Nothing could be done... they said this happens all the time... when the weather gets nice, they hand these things out on the Boardwalk. Lastly, this is a timeshare presentation and they lie all about everything and even state they are the only timeshare in Atlantic City... more Lies. Don't go down, it is all a SCAM. The Flagship is also a dive and a horrible deal. We used the free lunch buffet at Caesers, but there is no free parking there and the parking cost us $25. We had expected this.... don't go on the tour... tell them to {{Redacted}}!

I don't need to be foul and vulgar as you suggested ; I know a scam when I see one. Simply put, a polite "no, thank you" spoken once and with conviction is usually adequate.You knew at some level that this was misleading, but your greed and desire to perform the impossible (get something for nothing) backfired and now you're angry. Too bad.
