I want to give them a ZERO rating.

I've purchased their protection on several concerts. On March 15, 2024, we were supposed to go to a concert. I had been unable to keep food or drink down for 10 days & went to the ER the day after the concert. Now I am unable to get any help from FanShield. They don't answer phone calls or emails. I have tried to file a refund request, but they say they've sent me an email, but they never do. I'm so frustrated & absolutely will NEVER use them again.

I tried to get a refund for cedar point considering I spend money on protection if anything happens well it stormed and me and my family had to cancel our plans I cant come back to use our tickets unfortunately due to work I got the protection incase that happened only to be denied to me this all just seems like a scam cant talk to costumer service as no one likes to answer their phones I will not be returning and will let others know this protection is not worth spending money

I purchased concert tickets. when I paid i got a popup asking if I wanted to pay a fee for insurance. Nowhere did it say there were insane restrictions. Can't go to a concert for personal medical reasons. Submitted a claim for a refund and was denied. They want a Dr. note! The refund web site has a list of reasons to choose from terrorist attack to your own death. I paid a fee to be able to cancel with no issues.

I have been trying to get a response on my refund request since Dec.23, 2023. The only response is get is that they have received my claim. Several emails have been sent just saying my. Liam was received. I have called several times and all it says to do I email them and then it disconnects.

Can’t get a response about my refund request.

I sent for my refund on Dec. 23, 2022. The only emails I get is that my refund request was received. I have emailed several times for an update and I still only get that the claim was received. I tried calling the line disconnects after they tell me to email them. I will never use them again.

Purchased tickets to 3 events for myself, my husband and our 21 year old daughter. We were going to stay at the Gaylord Texan but my daughter couldn't get off work and my husband works 6 hours away during the week and curls find a replacement in time.

After trying to work around everyone's schedules, I had no choice but to cancel. When I started my refund "work related conflict" was an option. Fanshield asked for a receipt, gave it to them. Then they wanted a work note from my husband and daughter.

OMG! How does a 50 year old man that works on transmissions for a large power company ask for a note. Same for my daughter. REGRETTABLY when we had to cancel to Gaylord Texan, they gave me no trouble at all.

We are sorry you are unable to attend the Event.

Due to the requirements of the Protection Coverage, the policy states certain information be supplied for us to process a claim for reimbursement. A 'Work Travel' peril would be covered under the following:

"You are required to travel for work-related purposes, which would not allow you to attend the event.

To receive benefits, you must provide proof of the conflict that occurred after the Effective Date, in the form of a receipt for travel booked after the Effective Date. Self-employed workers, interns, volunteer workers, or any other unpaid workers do not qualify for coverage under this peril."

For this peril, supporting documentation would include travel documentation such as a flight itinerary, hotel receipt, or rental car receipt indicating the departure and return dates, along with a signed and dated note from the Ticketholder's supervisor on company letterhead indicating the Ticketholder is required to travel for work-related purposes during the date(s) of the Event.

That may be, but you should have read the policy better.

Most of your complaint doesn’t even apply to your circumstance. Two of the three of you could not get off work.

End of story. That is not covered for a refund.

70% of your complaint is talking about the “work travel peril” and what they require as far as documentation and your reaction to it. You can roll your eyes at their documentation requirements, but none of it applies to your situation.

Cancelled my room and refused to refund me. I am unable to drive until further notice from my neurologist. Just got test results back Wednesday. Could travel because of work before that even happened.

To notify customers that are ONLY looking to make a hotel reservation, MAKE SURE you are making that reservation with the hotel DIRECTLY!

Tried making a hotel reservation, thinking I was on that hotels site and found later after giving my credit card information that I like an IDIOT booked through a third party. What should have been a $460.00 charge if I would have called the hotel directly turned out to be an $800.00 charge on my credit card! I will NEVER book anything again online!
