Poor Customer Service at Famous Smokes

Although I paid for expedited shipping my order was not shipped in a timely manner. When discussing the problem with Sales Manager Ed he offered to credit my shipping costs and provide a customer service credit.

He never asked for my credit card info to credit this as promised and failed to call back to secure the info.

It seem customer service at Famous Smokes is to make idle promises and ignore customers. Famous Smokes is an online and "bricks" location in Easton, Pa that offers cigars for sale at prices similar to their competitors but has terrible customer service.

It is a shame you feel that way. I have purchased from other competitors and Famous has had the best customer service of them all.

Did you ever bother calling to follow up? I have had one or two issues with damaged goods from the shipper and Famous always credited my account unless I gave them my credit card. I shop enough that the credit on my account was sufficient.

Bottom line is I always get the same group when I call, and if I have issues they do their best to fix it. Human error occurs and maybe I'm just lucky but I have really had no major issues....
