No Msrp sticker on window

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • MSRP window sticker missing after dealer exchange.
  • Color and body style unavailable; promised head office sticker in a week, still not received.

The color of the vehicle and the body style of the vehicle was not available at the dealership that I was purchasing my vehicle from. So they did a dealer exchange and the vehicle came without a MSRP WINDOW STICKER, stating all the features and package the vehicle comes with.

The sales manager told me that they would order it from the head office, and that it would only take a week. That was on April 30th. It has been 17 days and no sticker tag.

Truly irritated! I have been calling and speaking to him yet no tag.

User's recommendation: Get everything in black and white before signing.

  • Purchased a Kia Sorento last May; heard chirping.
  • Kia says belt/pulley damaged; alternator issue unresolved; two dealers blame each other; no fix yet.

Purchased a Kia Sorento from them last year in May... I noticed a couple of weeks ago car make a chirping sound..

brought it to Kia for Recalls... Kia informed me that pulley and belt was damaged.. and pulley was bent and missing Bolts... So take it to family Hyundai to b repaired because their is no way it got bent like that from driving..

Said vehicle looked damaged already and they sold it to me knowing that... Took car to family Hyundai at 10:00 am to check on noise.. told me they checked it out and the Alternator is bad so take it to Kia because car is still under the 60,000 mike warranty... Kia informs me that they will not fix car because it’s just the belt and compressor pulley damaged not the alternator and they will not cover that..

So long story short back and forth between the two dealerships for over 10 hrs still no progress car is still at Kia not fixed.. and said neither will fix it..

blaming each other on who should cover the cost.. now I’m stuck without a vehicle...

Worst experience ever

AI Highlights
  • The internet lead process was ghetto.
  • They lied about the deal.
  • GM and the manager were the worst.
  • Phillips Hyundai in Bradley was great.

Submitted internet lead, entire process was ghetto and a joke. They literally lied about every aspect of the proposed deal.

GM and sales mgr were the absolute worst to deal with. This dealership really should be closed down; I saw several other families complaining that day about random "items" put into their contracts without knowing. What a bunch of low life people who run this store!! How hard is it to respond to an internet lead, and then set an appt.

for a test drive?

They cant even get this right. Phillips Hyundai in Bradley was great to deal with, and actually likes their customers.

Loss:
$12000

Preferred solution: Sell the store to another auto group.

Damaged my vehicle and refuse to fix

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • Service department was unprofessional.
  • They damaged my vehicle and refused to fix it.
  • They kept my car for two weeks and did no work.
  • No one called back.

This the worst dealer is the world. Service department was very unprofessional.

They damaged my vehicle and refuse to fix. They expected me not be angry as they did the damages while doing warranty work. They kept my car for two weeks and did not even do any work. What a bunch of liars.

I went back on another day the the supposed assistant manager(Eric) told me they fixed my car and all those cars do that(what a ***). The switch was obviously broken but he stated "all those cars do that", again - what a ***.

Its been about 4 weeks and my car is still damaged and no one has called me back. Do not waste your time here.

Loss:
$1000

Preferred solution: Full refund

  • Service was unfriendly and expensive.
  • Paid $200+ for a valve stem and TPMS.
  • The service writer was arrogant.
  • I would not return or recommend them.

!!!!WARNING STAY AWAY!!!! (DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY OR BUSINESS)

Place is a Joke just like all the other reviews say.

They do not care about the costumer. Very unfriendly service and very expensive. Service writer was arrogant. Paid over 200 for new valve stem and tpms!!!!.

What a joke. Do your selves a favor and buy a car ANYWHERE else and get it serviced ANYWHERE else. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. They lost all of my family's business and we will not be returning.

Don't listen to there bs or play there games. Don't let your wife or gf go there alone or they will squeeze every penny out of them for stuff they don't need.

Price bait and switch

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
AI Highlights
  • Advertised price of 23,969; they did not honor it.
  • Price increased to 32,969 after inquiry.
  • No follow-up after signing up for a test drive.

They advertised on their website and cars.com that a dodge durango is for sale for 23,969, which I printed off to bring to salesperson. I also clicked on "get lowest e-price" now for them to contact me, which they never did.

when I arrived at the dealership, they said the car I wanted was at a different location and continued to try to sell me other cars. I refused and went online to the other locations website (family hyundai in matteson) and clicked on and signed up for an appt to test drive and purchase. again, no phone call or email back. so the next morning, I went on their website to get the phone # to call them and expressed interest in car, they then changed their price to 32,969.

$9,000 HIGHER!!! when i called and asked Sam, the manager, he had no response and said he would call me back right away with some info. ofcourse, no phone call back, then a call from a different sales agent trying to sell me the car for 32,000! so after re-explaining everything to him and sending him photos of the website printouts, I was told " sorry, we messed up and we cannot honor that price." this seems like a real sleazy price bait and switch move.

If they would have honored the price THEY advertised, I would have purchased it with an acceptable test drive. they offered ZERO options to keep my business!!!! show interest and pay more because they messed up? i don't think so.

you advertise a car for sale for a certain price , YOU HONOR THAT! i could see if was off a few hundred bucks from a sale or something,, but $9,000 ?

Preferred solution: sell the car for what was advertised

Not to stellar a dealer

AI Highlights
  • Watch these dealers; the deal was not illegal but less than stellar.
  • The price promised everything; the trade-in was removed and rebates followed.

You have to watch these guys very closely. While they did not do anything illegal their dealing was less than stellar.

They focused on my trade in value & so did I. They gave me a figure (price) & said it included everything. It looked good so I gave in. This is where I let them zap me.

When I got the papers I saw they took off the trade from the sticker price. The rebate came after. So no dealer discount as they advertise only the manufacturer's rebate. So shame on me for being duped but shame on them the great BS act.

Will never byt from them again. I only hope their service department is not as shady.

Bait and switch car

AI Highlights
  • Told approved for a $6,995 used car loan.
  • Later told I didn't qualify; offered a $4,500 car with $2,000 down and $347/mo for 30 months.

Was told I was approved for a loan on a used car for $6995.When I went to fill out paper work I was told I didn't qualify but they would put me in a car for $4500.00.I spoke with their office 5 times before going there and was assured each time everything was o.k. When I complained they then said they could sell the original car, to me, with a $2000.00 down payment but the payments would only be for 30 months and the would be $347.00 p/m.

What kind of interest rate is that?

What a rip-off. I would never recommend that dealer.
