Unhygienic handling of sensitive sterile material

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

On Monday, Nov, 11th, I had the first appointment to rule out contact allergies, which should be determined with the help of patching. The receptionist stuck these patches on my back without disinfecting her hands or wearing gloves first.

Patches are sterile packaged units that should be handled with absolute hygiene.

The assistant on Wednesday, Nov.

13th just shrugged her shoulders when I told her about the incident, the doctor on the following Thursday, Nov. 14th just said he wasn't in that day.

For me, this means that nobody there is interested in whether an employee with possibly contaminated hands is working with sterile tools.
