Ford Warranty Nightmare

AI Highlights
  • 2015 Ford Fusion with 18k miles towed for warranty, needing injectors and plugs.
  • Parts were unavailable and no follow-up from managers.

I have a 2015 Ford Fusion with only 18,000 miles that was recently towed to the nearest Ford dealer under warranty. It took the dealer 3 days to look at the car and to call me with the news that it needed new injectors and plugs.

I was informed they had none in stock and didn't know when they would get any. Meanwhile my only option was to rent and auto for weeks or sit at home. A call to customer service got me a call from the Regional Service Manager who advised me that I would receive a call the next day from the local service manager about expediting the deliver of my parts or help with a rental. Now 5 days later, I still haven't received a call from anyone and my emails and calls go unanswered.

I can go online and find places that can ship Ford Motorcraft injectors out overnight, while the local dealer can't seem to get them. This will be the last Ford vehicle that I will ever own.
