A neighbor recently had their tank removed and Fairclough took it upon themselves to walk the block since we were converted to natural gas to see who had tanks in their yards. I was advised they were coming the next day and removing the tank.
I did not consent or request removal of the tank and now I receive monthly bills that are now past due. I NEVER requested or consented to the tank removal. Fairclough removed the tank on their own. I was not calling for the removal of the tank in the near future either.
Fairclough is now harassing me by sending monthly overdue bills and it must stop. I am not paying for removal of a tank that I did not request or consent to.
Preferred solution: STOP SENDING BILLS AND MARK THE INVOICE AS PAID IN FULL
Fairclough Propane Review
Great propane prices, excellent service and great employees!!
Take notice Suburban!
Never showed up to do the work
Awful. Called Dec 22 to have propane tank hooked up and filled, and was told it would be done the next week.
Called Jan 2nd to confirm they were still coming. They promised someone would be there the next day. Waited home all day and the person from the on call service said that "if they said they were going to show up, they will". BS, no one showed.
Called the 5th to find out if they were going to do the work, and they said it would be later in the week. No one came. Called back on the 14th and was told that they were too busy to do it at all, and they asked "why don't I just get a plumber to do it?".
Not even an apology. I went to ASH plumbing and heating in Blairstown, and the guy helped me find everything I needed for under $10 and I did it in under 30 mins.
- Price quoted
- That no one ever did the work
Trustworthy Propane Company
It never ceases to amaze me how other propane companies have gotten away with their price gouging and dishonest business tactics for so long! I am a veteran employee at Fairclough Propane Company.
Fairclough has been family owned and operated for 5 generations. I can't say enough about their honesty and integrity! We have the best propane pricing available with no hidden fees, "gray area" rip off clauses or strong arm scare tactics to prevent customers from switching their service. We don't have to because our customers love our service & pricing.
It's just that simple. Our customer service is beyond excellent. Our employees know our customers and our customers know the employees by name. We aim to please and it shows!
Shame on all you propane suppliers that conduct yourselves like the propane mafia. No wonder we are taking so many of your customers!!!

Are you kidding me?
your propane price was $2.20 higer then my current provider, I was given no choice but to swith to a new propane company.
when I called the office to see if they could do better then the $5.99they were charging, the lady in the office said she would check. over 1 week later she never returned the call so i called back. She told me NO (take it or leave it). I told her to have the tank picked up.
Fairclough still owed me $5.59 (for over 1 year) I asked about getting that money refunded to me and she said NO, I normally should have been charged $150.00 to break a contract??? What contract??? I was COD!!!!! They are not only a dishonest company, but their office staff is the worst!!
I am a recruiter for the last 29 years. I would not work with a one of them.
Shame on the owner. You can't hide behind your bogus advertisement forever!!!
I agree. What Fairclough is doing to undermine propane for other companies in Sussex is being paid for by higher Fuel Oil prices.
Theres more *** being thrown here than on a dairy farm! :eek
