Factory Pro Motorcycle components supp(lie)r

About 7 months ago I ordered a Factory Pro Star Shift Kit for my 2008 Honda CBR 1000RR. It's now 28 Apr 2014 and I still do not have the kit. I ordered it through one of their vendors that had it listed on EBay for 139.99 + 14.99 s&h. Since they had it listed as an auction and didn't have it in stock they refunded the s&h which eased the fact they are not a reliable seller nor do they track their inventory well. The vendor tried to get ahold of a kit through multiple sources but was unable to since Factory pro was completely out of stock. I have kept in close contact with the vendor getting updates about every other week now since October 2013 when I originally ordered it. Every two weeks Factory Pro has committed to "they're almost ready, it'll be two more weeks" and I've saved all the emails to back this up! I understand it's out of the vendors control to provide this product which is why I'm not upset with the vendor about this nor am I including their name in this complaint. Factory pro not only has no idea of what customer service is but I believe the individual working the phones and email service is a compulsive liar! I've written them through their website several times now asking for an update on when the star kits for my motorcycle might be available, to date have not received one response. I have connected by phone with a worker there only twice and was lied to both times. I asked for a guesstimate when they might be ready the 1st time and was told "their almost ready for packaging". The 2nd time was today and he said "we shipped those kits out to our vendors last week". No sooner than 5 min later I was on the phone with the vendor asking if they had received them yet so he called them to check if they had in fact been mailed. They told him "they're mailing them out today to the vendors". Its not the delay that's irritated me about this situation but the constant horrible customer service and the lying! If there was another company that provided the products they do, even at a much higher price, I would pay it just to avoid ever having to deal with them again! If your in the market for a upgrade to a motorcycle that Factory Pro provides, my suggestion is stay away! I cannot stand being lied to, or treated as if the money I spent with them isn't enough to provide a simple service of kindness & honesty! I really hope they come under new management that thinks customer service is an important part of the package when someone purchases one of their products, since the products they offer are so good!
