Customer service sent wrong product and will not compensate

AI Highlights
  • - Chair set sent instead of the Night Timer.
  • - Returned in 2 days but received no compensation.
  • - The product is bulky, heavy, and hard to assemble.

DO NOT RENT ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I tried to rent a 3 pad face holder called the Night Timer but because I couldn't remember the actual name at the time of placing the order they sent me a complete chair set and all.

The customer rep told me that I should have known that because it was 40lbs that it was more than just the Night Timer. Since I never used their products before how would I know how much each product weighs? The product is bulky, heavy, and hard to assemble and totally awkward at best.

I sent back the product in 2 days and they would not give any compensation at all. Dont waste your time with this company, go to another company with better quality products and better customer service.

User's recommendation: NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY

you were the one who ordered the wrong item? It's not their fault.

Face Down Solutions - Very Unhappy and Dissatisfied

Had eye surgery for retinal detachment, this was my third surgery. Each time I had rented a special chair for keeping face down.

This chair rented from facedown solutions is the worse I have ever seen. Extremely difficult to put together video doesnt even match up in some area to the chair I received.

Spent $225 and cant even use. Company now says cannot return even though I just received today.

User's recommendation: Do not rent from this company

DO NOT RENT from this company. All that I wanted was their Night Timer face unit but because I couldn't remember the name they sent me an entire chair unit which was heavy and very difficult to put together.

I sent entire package back never using the product and asked for some compensation and would not give anything at all. I would NEVER buy anything from this company.

Be advised. Their customer service is totally the worst.

Totally useless. Very frustrating experience.

This company is unmindful of the needs of older Vitrectomy patients who live alone

AI Highlights
  • - First-week rental is $189 for a face-down chair.
  • - Delivery uses a 5 ft by 3 ft UPS carton.
  • - A $95 packing and pickup fee is charged.

This company charges $189 for the first week rental of a face down chair required for recovery after vitrectomy surgery. They deliver it by UPS in a carton that is about 5 feet tall and 3 feet wide.

They say they told me ahead that I would have to save the box and repack this very heavy face down chair and either pay Ups to pick it up, or bring it to Ups myself. I don’t remember that, and know I would never have agreed to it. I threw out the box before surgery. Forget that I am not supposed to pick up something that heavy, and certainly can’t drive, they are justifying the $95 for pick up by saying I should just go out and get another giant box!

And it’s my fault I threw the box away. Actually, since they know people are limited after surgery, or SHOULD know that, they should have told me about the $95 additional for packing and pick up when they arranged the rental.

They justify also the expense of sending someone out. So my advise: Unless you have someone who can pack this for you, find a company closer to home with more upfront information about pickup.

For those who are unfamiliar with vitrectomy : this is a delicate eye surgery whereby the vitreous humor material in the eyeball is removed in order to surgically repair other parts of the eye. It requires a minimum of 4-6 weeks of recuperation time and physical activity should be carefully undertaken when necessary but precludes any heavy work, etc.... Please allow me to wish you a full and safe recovery.
