stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

EzUSTax "consultants" have very low knowledge of US tax law. They provided by a VERY INFLATED view of tax returns to get my business.

They filed an INCORRECT RETURN and refuse to take ANY RESPONSIBILITY for audit related fines for their INCORRECT, INEPT AND INAPPROPRIATE FILING / REPRESENTATION. Any communication with them gets a response "This is what we do always" - The most unprofessional "tax consultant" on the western hemisphere.

Stay away from this company

These guys are running tax filing business from India and doesn't have common sense of handling official communication and customer affairs. Customer's tax filing being taken care by unqualified and untrained people.

In event of any query from IRS / state the customer is on their own.

The staff just do forms filling by using software for that they charged significant fee.

Seems the only CPA they have is "Sanjeev Kumar" who least bother to review the staff work and respond customer's query or concern.

It would be wise advise to weigh option of filing taxes with a local CPA who can be accessible when you need him/her or simply do taxes yourself by using on line tax filing tools. Stay away from such unprofessional company.

The worst customer experience

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Waited for 20 days to get call back for tax filing and after we finally had the call, they made so many mistakes and I sent them a detailed email about the mistakes, they can't even acknowledge or correct it for another two weeks. This is frustrating and its really bad.

If they are so lazy/ignorant/avoiding to file taxes, I am really worried how they will respond to an AUDIT if by any chance we get audited.

When I started with them few years back, its was good, but now THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER, JUST AVOID THIS COMPANY. Just close this *** firm down.

Below Average CPAs

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

It's not worth to call them CPAs, anyone can fill up tax forms.

You will not hear from them when there is any review / questions from IRS or from state.

I got a simple letter from state asking for additional information, I wanted to run by them after several follow up emails, never even got an acknowledgement.

You are on your own in case of any issues, I do not recommend ez us tax return.

The amount that they charge for filing taxes are very high compared to other consultants.

V. Bad Experience with EzUsTax

I have filed my tax returns using Ez Us tax. They have filed on a wrong form (1040) but I am supposed to be considered a non-resident for tax purpose, as I was in the US for less than 5 yrs. They have charged $250 for this wrong tax filing.

After asking them to correct this issue, they have charged $150 more ($400 total) for correcting the forms. I was forced to continue to file the returns through them (that year) as I have already paid them $250 to get the initial wrongly filed return documents.

Also, the tax preparer was very rude and was telling me that I am not the only person (as if he is doing me a favor for free), and he has other tax filings to work on, and didn't want to correct the returns. He then told me to pay the 150$ as he has to re-do the work.

Would never recommend at-least approaching these unethical people.

Please be wary of this firm. They have zero ethics and most of the staff are clueless about US taxation laws.

They will try to find you the biggest return using insane business expense claims and will not disclose any of this. Save yourself and go file using a better more reputed service.

I am on F1 visa, and I have been filing taxes for over three years with ezustax. Did you tell them your VISA status and length of stay upfront when they called you to discuss your tax return?

I do not know the details involved, but there may be miscommunication or misunderstanding.

I have never had a problem they understanding my tax filing needs as a Non-Resident V/s Resident and always they assisted me filing the 1040-NR form.

This year is my 5th year as a student in the US, and they specifically told me about my change in filing status from non-resident to the resident and need to file 1040. In addition to this, I find them incredibly knowledgeable on FBAR and other foreign tax issues when it comes to double taxation and the foreign tax credit for taxes deducted from interest income in India.

Amazing service using it for last 9 years

My 2 cents.

Im very surprised to see these two comments posted here. I have been using this company for over 9 years now and i will tell you thing that is they are honest and upfront when comes to taxes. They will tell you whats right and whats not and as far as knowledge goes, never felt it was lacking or had issues. They have been in business over 12 years as far as I can tell as a lot of my older friends from Cognizant filed through this firm they all seem to have no complain.

Hope you are not one of their competitors and trying these tricks to disrepute them.

Bad experience with EZ US TAX (EZUSTAX)

This company is Junk... Trash... they charge you for tax filing and miss tax filing itself.. Not adequate knowledge. when you get audited try to contact them.. thats all you will see the real face of the company..

There are many CPAs out in the market.. but never ever try to file using this company...

I do not want to refer any good CPAs but at least i do not want you to get ripped off or get into trouble. that is why I am trying to convey you all that EZUSTAX , EZ US TAX or EZUSTAX.com is junk..

For filing they charge and file but after that there is any issue or any audit answers you are gone.. you never get any help or support from this company... Not sure whether the person is really certified CPA or not.. They never admits mistakes.. Not at all professional...

In my case it happened that I paid tax filing fee which is huge amount but this company miss out my filing for one portion.. i contacted but the response was very RUDE..and not even a responsible answer...

So please make and think before you choose this company.

100% in agreement! Its staffed by a set of people with no qualifications and they INFLATE TAX RETURNS and are definitely the most tax law illiterate folks on the western hemisphere!

I absolutely agree with the previous review, the company run by untrained collage kids, they don't fundamental training or sense of customer communication. The leader of the co is "Sanjeev Kumar" not sure if he is really CPA or have valid credential to deal in public tax matters.

He barely come on call to answer customer's query.

Also , these all junk operate from India, what it means to customer in event of the serious need , you won't get hold of any of these people. it is seasonable business they grab money and vanish for rest of the year.

I agree with the post, the CPA firm run by the untrained and unqualified collage kids, they charged the fee of the professional services, on the name Sanjeev Kumar CPA , but when you really land in any trouble , he don't even talk to customer. I like to know how many of you have chance to talk to Sanjeev Kumar and in event of any query from IRS how they handle your case.

I have been using ezuxtax for mor then 5 years but I never felt any problem with the company. They do all their best to get me maxium return.

Guest

They overdrawn their commision amount from my account and refused to pay me back the excess amount drawn. Staff of ezustax said that they will refund within a month.

I followed up several times and he said all lame excuses like I need to talk with my manager and so on... I have not got the money back till today. Im not satisfied with their service and will not recommend anyone.

I called my friend who referred them to me and shouted at him. I also told to the people I referred about the incident for them to be aware of what happened to me.

Guest

I second the above. They are rude and not professional at all!!

Ezustax is unprofessional and unreliable

Their service really sucks, I had to call and email many times before I get in touch with them. They can not do taxes right either.

After going over the estimation, they said I owe. But, I got refund when i went to H&R block. Dont believe them. They do not really know lot of rules, which I realized later in talks with H&R.

They said it is free to get estimation. But, they will accuse you using their information later.

Be careful about providing your information. Moreover, they can not even write good email, it is so hard to understand their communication.
