Verified ReviewerAwful customer service and refusing to correct their mistake..
They sent me back my glasses and I agreed to pay $100. I just wanted them back.
They sent them broken! One of them has a mismatch arm on it!
They look horrible! They didn’t fix them at all and now they are worse with a lens popped out.
I thought it would be an inexpensive repair, since they advertised on their website saying hinge problem, $35. They quoted me $150. I can buy new sunglasses for that. I told them it was too expensive.
They tried to bargain with me and lower the price. The lowest price they wanted was $120. I said NO and asked them to send the glasses back ASAP. I asked how much for a return...they said $12.
When I asked for a confirmation of the return and if they had shipped, they said they replaced them. WHAT?! I asked them to send them back without fixing them. They said they THREW AWAY THE ARMS and that I had to pay.
I can go on and on because they have been SO rude and disrespectful. I am still waiting for my 2 pairs of Ray Bans that they broke the arms off of and THREW AWAY! Who does that? Especially after asking them to send them back ASAP.
They are refusing to make is right and are EXTREMELY RUDE. I have never had such an awful and unpleasant experience with a business. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I hope I get my 2 nice Ray Bans back one day.
Sadly, I don't think they will ever send them back. Worst business! The owner is who I am dealing with. I just can't believe an owner would act like this.
Maybe he is 10 years old. He/She sure does act that way. I just can't believe they want to send them back broken with no arms.
I have wasted so much time and energy. DO NOT GO HERE!Aw
- Refusing to mail back glasses
- Rude customer service
- Fixed glasses when told to send back
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered
User's recommendation: DO NOT GO HERE! SCAM
Shady shady shady
On the 12/1/2020, I decided to get a pair of spare eyeglasses fixed and came upon EyeglassesDepot. I filled out the form and received a postage paid label.
On 12/2/2020 I received a email asking why I did not use the label. I thought that was rather odd as it had only been one day. Against my better judgement, at that point, I sent my eyeglasses. I just needed a nose pad replaced and there was a nut cap missing.
I received an estimate that seemed a bit high and I almost went for it until I noticed that the cap nut was not listed. I sent a message through the website and received an answer from Sam that they did not have my order. I sent a copy of the tracking and got another email. The address line said Becky but the person that signed the email was Arsenio.
He assured me that the cap nut was included. During this time I actually started getting multiple emails asking me to pay. When I actually went to pay, the price was different. I brought this to "Arsenio's" attention and he "fixed" it.
I decided not to do business with them and requested my glasses back. I received another 5 emails asking for full payment and I answered one reminding the company that I just wanted my glasses back. I paid for shipping in the middle of December and I still do not have my glasses back. Several days ago I received an email asking for a tip.
Outrageous! Below is a copy of the emails, newest to oldest:
My name is Alex I am the owner can you call me back? I just called you.
I would like to speak to you.

As I said, in all my business dealings and personal dealings with PayPal never have I been solicited for a tip. My furnace repair man, cable repair person, and plumbers do not ask for tips nor is it customary.
For you to solicit a tip using the name Becky for doing nothing is outrageous and unprofessional. The fact that you have carried this on for several emails is also unprofessional. I have since read reviews about your company from several websites and they more or less say the same thing. The fact that you have answered every one of them in a condescending and patronizing manner is not surprising.
Unprofessional and not subscribing to normal business practices for an eyeglass store. You must not be very busy since you have taken the time to give me such special attention.

The stewardess? The nurse? The gas station attendant? Any cashier in any store?
How about the mail delivery person? Ridiculous

I have never experienced a person sending an email asking for a tip, in fact, I have never had a waitress or valet ask for a tip. If I do not receive my eyeglasses by Friday, I will be lodging a complaint with the BBB and I will include the fact that you solicit tips.
Not good business practices. I will also bill you for them.
