Bad Frames - titanium frame snapped in 5 months and VisionWorks refused to replace

The VisionWorks store in Schaumburg, IL refused to replace the Titanium glasses that snapped at the bridge as I was cleaning them. They wanted me to purchase an extended warranty for $49 to get them replaced...these glasses should have lasted more than five months...they should have lasted past the usefulness of my prescription.
I will NEVER go to VisionWorks again.
Stay far away. The store personnel need training in customer relationship.

Purchased two sets of glasses and I can only wear one because the AREA MANAGER KEN took it apon himself to REWRITE MY prescription and it was a disaster. HE WOULD NOT REDO THEM!!!!!!
I tried to complain and go above his head but he has so much control in the company that he filtered my complaints.
This was the Danforth location before it burned down ( we won’t go there ) Once they have your money they don’t care! So beware!

Went back for adjustment. Took forever to be waited on - then asked for replacement nose pads and was told there would be a charge.
Only picked up the new glassed a week ago.
This plus the attitude of the store pissed me off. Went home, got my old glasses and returned the new ones to the store for a refund. Person who handled the refund was, however, very nice and helpful.

The glasses I purchased were defective and had to be replaced with another pair that never fit properly Four times I went back to have them adjusted to no avail I had to go to a eye glass place to have them adjusted and I had much better luck but still not fitting properly I feel the product is under par and defective The staff was unprofessional and unhelpful I expect a full refund Thank you Deborah Downes (860)471-5017
