Extreme Learning, Inc. discriminates based on age.
I applied for one of about 60 or 70 tutor positions with this company. They did one group interview with about 6 of us. It was extremely structured where we had to write down what each other said to questions, which was subject to each other's interpretation. For some reason, although I had just received my BS in 12/2007 and had a GPA of 3.9, I wasn't good enough for this company. I am left to believe it was based on my age. I would think twice before hiring them to tutor your child unless you want them to learn how a company discriminates.

Discrimination in Employment
I applied for a position as a tutor with Extreme Learning.com. I have a BS and graduated with a 3.9 GPA in 12/2007. The company said they needed between 60 and 70 online tutors to start 9/2009. I attended one group interview with 5 other people, some with no degree. I thought I would be considered, but when I called a week later they denied me employment with no specific reason for it. I can only assume that this may have been age based as there was no other reason for it. I would think twice before having my kids tutored by this organization.
