I have stayed in many hotels, this room is not the worst I have ever stayed in but its really close, blood stains on pullout mattress, dirty sheet / no sheet on pullout mattress, curtains held together with a clip, chair with what I can only assume is stained by a different type of bodily service. Manager that is likely non-existent, dirty filthy disgusting and worn out.

I paid 372 dollars to stay inside a garbage can.

At least we all have our hepatitis shots. Don't worry, though, if nobody fixes this situation / responds to the email, Ill just post all the disgusting pictures I have taken of the room on-line.

I am at the Extended Stay in Beltway 8 1500 in Houston..Room 112...

I have no shower curtain...no microwave...my stove has NO KNOBS...AFTER GOING TO THE DESK TO HEAT MY FOOD..I BOUGHT POTS...AND NO KNOBS ARE ON MY STOVE...My TV IS BLUE... LITERALLY GOING OUT...I HAVE PICTURES..

..I HAVE A VIDEO OF LAST WEEK WHERE THE FIRE ALARM DRILL BUSINESS WENT ON FOR 8.5 HOURS...

LITERALLY GOING OFF EVERY 10 MINUTES...

I COMPLAINED...NO CALL...NO COMPENSATION..I AM NOT AT LIBERTY TO LEAVE..I AM SLIGHTLY HANDICAPPED...AND THIS IS RIDICULOUS...I'm pissed man...No knobs on my stove... seriously...No microwave..Looks nothing like the ad...Won't clean my room or even give me cleaning supplies...WTF...I'm trying to be calm..but it's a freeze

.and I can't cook...

No microwave...I've been here 10 days...

I stayed at extended stay off of Murphy Canyon Road ( mission Valley) the 1st time staying there check-out time we got stuck in elevator, 2nd time staying there we was sent to an unclean room phone cord was cut, there were roaches, just not the best up keep... I didnt want to stay there when I got on priceline website I chose hotel circle somehow I got that hotel instead..so I would like a refund cause my time staying there with my granddaughters 3 and 1 was unpleasent/ uncomfortable

Very bad experience

We stayed at the Albany SUNY (Washington Ave) location in New York. Our first & last stay at any of of their locations.

We checked in on 10/11/2023-10/14/2023

We called and reported our issues on the 14th. We were to be contacted by management with 48 hours. We have heard nothing.

-For a 3-night stay, your location could have at least provided ice and some bare necessity kitchen items. I was told I had a freezer so no ice could be provided.

Why cant you have a few rooms for short stays?

-Flushing the toilet was a challenge because of the counter over the tank. Toilet paper was difficult to reach because the bar was affixed under the counter.

-The bed was a rock

-The air conditioner did not work.

-Electrical outlets popped when other lights were turned off or on.

-This location charged $81 for a dog fee but allowed marijuana and cigarettes to be smoked in the rooms. You could not even tell our dog was there.

-Staff were rude and very unprofessional.

-ceiling over the bathtub was badly bubbled.

-Free breakfast: what a joke. Your staff hogged the area and there was no coffee for paying guests.

Granola bars? Really?

-No insulation between floors or rooms. We heard every step the guests above us made during the night and there were a lot.

We could hear guests beside us and all around. No one at the front desk seemed phased by all the racket.

-Nothing welcoming about this place.

PAID $1175 CASH FOR 7 DAYS. I STAYED ONLY 4 DAYS

I stayed at the Extended stay of America Scottsdale, Old Town location over 2 months ago. I am owed 2 checks totaling over $433.

I called today and was told the checks are still sitting in the Managers Office not filled out, signed, or sent in the mail. This is very difficult for me to add but it is also very necessary for me to include. I am definitely willing to go to the media and do an in person interview. I was in dire need to find somewhere to stay quickly and was not sure how long.

I called to make a reservation. I was told I had to stay for 7 days. When I arrived I had to pay $1,175 for 7 days. I did not have enough on my card so I had to give all the cash I had.

I gave $1175 for 7 days. I let the cashier at the front desk who I paid the $1,175, know that I was not sure If i would be staying the full 7 days, she said i did not have to stay all 7 days. I asked, then how would the refund work, If I was paying cash?

The woman working there at the front desk told me that it would be given back in the form of check and that it would be issued by corporate. I had banging on my door everyday that I stayed, they were banging on my door asking if I was going to be staying another day.

I asked why they would be asking , I told them I already had paid for 7 days, they were aware.

The reason I am so upset is because I am indefinite need of this money ASAP and it was due to me over a month ago I called today and they said they spoke to the manager at that location and she still has the check sitting there. I was only there for 4 days because on the 4th morning when they banged on my door, I was in the back of the in the bathroom and said hold on please and the woman employee became angry, she was yelling.

The morning this occured, my 4th am there, I was very upset did not sleep all night and had not gotten back to my room until 4:00 a.m. The prior evening, before this morning on the 4th day , I was drugged and Victimized! I did not get back to my room until 4:00 a.m.

because I was with the police and nurse until this time. I told the employee and the general manager about the incident and that I was drugged and Victimized. They had no empathy whatsoever. I had done nothing wrong.

I paid, I was quiet. I was alone. The employee and General Manager, proceeded to kick me out of the hotel. Even going as far as calling the police.

I had several bags, I asked that they just please give me some time to get my belongings together. I was in shock, I could not even believe this was happening and why? I had to wait for a ride to pick me up, as I was not expecting to be thrown out , and for no reason? They surrounded me by the the door telling me that I needed to hurry up or they were calling the police!

Shortly thereafter, the police arrived. I was hen had to tell them about what I had gone through the night before, even giving them the card with the police report number.The Scottsdale police had no empathy either. Telling me to just hurry up. I thought with all th bags I had, and them telling me to hurry up, they would help, NO help.

No Empathy. Whatsoever. My ride came and I left as fast as u could.

My driver even helping with my bags. I am still waiting for my refund that I desperately need.

Me and my girlfriend had stayed there overnight we left and we came back and we came back to hear that we couldn't get in our room our room was locked when we tried to get in so we went to the front desk and we told him well why is our room locked you know can we get a new key and they said no that we were locked out of our room due to the smell of chemicals mind you that they were steam cleaning carpets that morning up on the top floor all the way down the hall so they locked us out of our room needless to say the guy ended up letting us back in well we had to hurry and get our stuff because they weren't letting us stay there due to a chemical smell that was caused by them vacuuming the floor so we had left in a hurry and as we left in a hurry she left $4,000 in clothes behind that we did not get because when we went back to get him she had spoken to one manager in the manager said yeah they're here in the lost and found but I don't have the keys so you have to wait for the day manager so as she came back the next following day she says can I get my clothes that I left in room such and such and the manager says I threw those clothes out myself now as policy they're supposed to hold them for 90 days they didn't hold them for not even a week the one manager said that they were there and the other manager told her that she couldn't get them back he threw him out his self then he made a report to her that she saw her digging them out of the trash can which is a lie cuz she didn't get in the trash can to dig the clothes out it was already embarrassing enough that they had threw her clothes out and kept them and let alone accuse her of getting in the trash can now I believe that he took them home or he sold them or he did something other than what he said but nevertheless they're supposed to hold property for 90 days that's in their company policy and they did not stand strong to that and I'd like to be reimbursed for the $4,000 it's a lot of money just to lose and I will never stay there again I'm very dissatisfied with their customer service with their everything they have all around

Vacuuming the floors? Chemical smell?

Sounds like you gathered what you could because they wanted to call the police on you.

You should have stayed and waited for them. It is also odd that you were only paid through the same day you were “kicked out”.

It's now day 15 I've been here and day 10 that I haven't been able to shower without taking an Uber to the nearest relatives . I feel like I deserve a full refund for the days the manager fails to keep his word to fix my shower. I have no problem paying for the first 5...

I have been here a couple weeks now of what was going to be a 3-4 month stay for work. The 1st time I go to get in the shower and turn the shower on the hand held detachable sprayer flies off and smacks me in the side of the head.

After a few minutes I decided to try and finish with just the hose but when I reached my private area I was literally sickened by what felt like being kicked in the privates , so needless to say the water pressure through just the hose was way too strong and you can't turn it down so I went and layed down because it was last and my head hurt and I was sick at my stomach from the water pressure on my privates. The next day when I got in from work I took the broken head to the manager and told him and the desk worker what happened . I was told it would be fixed . It has now been 8 days and I have reminded the desk clerks 2 different ones 3 times and directly reminded the manager twice the 2nd time he told me maintainance would be the tomorrow to fix it and if they didn't get it then he would personally fix it himself,that was 3 days ago and it stl is not fixed .

I have had to take an Uber 6 times into the city in order to have a shower, I'm paying over five hundred a week and don't even have a shower. Somehow this does not seem right . I could have saved a lot of money by going somewhere else but I chose your hotel and now not only am I out a couple thousand dollars but also over 200 im Uber rides. And like I said the shower is still not fixed.

They haven't even come in to look at at. I pay 511.70 every Sunday and I'm not really looking to keep paying out all this money but I reserved the room for 1 month and told them I will need it for 3to 4 all together. I'm really not sure what my options are about going to another hotel where I can be close to . So I would like to know what can be done to fix this situation.

I'm not trying to be a trouble maker but I feel I deserve a lot more for the money I have spent and like I said I still need a room for 3 months or so. What do we do now?

They definitely are dragging their feet and should deduct Uber costs from your cost of the room. In the future leave out “I could have saved money and stayed somewhere else but chose here.” Some advantage/perk led you to choose here.

Not pleased with the way management

I had stayed there approximately 2 months, I paid around 491.62 a week, at times the would tack on a late fee. After comparing my billing I noticed I was always being charged late fees, I don't mean a 25.00 late fee per day, it was usually 110.00 to 150.00 now mind you I talking 2 days max so paying my bill of 491.61 for the week then came the late fees for 2 days came to 600.00 that's when I told the monotoned clerk that that couldn't be tight. How in the world could you have late fees of that much. Mind you no balance was ever carried over from the week before so you were at a zero balance to begin another week at 0 balance. I asked her to rekey my cards and she told me she couldn't because I hadn't paid I politely told her that I would be paying my bill in the morning, seeing I didn't get paid till midnight. Or unless she would like to come back to the window nd I would gladly meet her there to pay my bill. That's until she told me I could square this bill out with around 600.00 dollar. I told her to rekey my car nd as I turned toward the door, I said to myself that this was *** it just couldn't be right As I get to my room my card that she just rekeyed DID NOT WORK of course at this point I was pissed. My husband let me in our room . As I told his what all was said he couldn't believe it either.

I went to my car nd drove through the parking lot looking for my son nd daughter in law. They also have a room there. I see my daughter in law with the most horrifying look on her face. As I get to her my husband and walker was yelling toward her asking where I was , that we had been kicked out nd we need to leave the property with our our belongings. He has problems because of a strokes. So he was very upset they threatened him with CC calling the police and he would be arrest nd go to jail. This all was over the bill of 600.00 . Shortly after that 2 squad units pulled up nd she wa drunk working being crude to people. s out Talking with them pointing at my husband and then myself.

This attendant is known for believing she also is the law nd has literally called the DEA on my son for misdemeanor traffic tickets. I seen nd heard. Of her calling the folks on other paying people. She also is known for being inebriated in the job. Behind the desk being crude to people. Her live in boy toy telling people in the parking lot that she gets so drunk she *** the bed nd don't know it. This is not professional. I believe corporate she looks very hard at the books I believe there may be some skimming off the top nd that where these helaciouis late fee *** is coming from . Late fees of 150.00 per day is Ludacris.

Manager lied saying that corporate viewed the films nd called him to bring it to his attention ofe cursing at that employee. That's in correct. I actually thanked her when I first got to the desk . One day she brought my husband's walker to our room as I answered the door I pushed the walker hastily across the room to my husband and said bad day Mandy .

So I apologize to her for being hasty about it but also thanked and showed much appreciation for what she did for us that day. There was no yelling nd cursing like the manager said. Corperate didn't call them.

There was no reason to involve the police , my husband is handicap nd I have broke my knee cap nd fractured my Tibia so I'm in much pain nd in A knee brace. ... I believe she wanted to throw her weight around basically threatening us. Out belonging we couldn't have. My purse was in the room my husband medication my medication out pajamas. Warm clothing. We are expecting a extended snow storm with dipping temperatures into the teen with gusting winds of 45 go 65 mile jour. It was horrible. I was going to clear my bill in the next am

I payed 110 for an unexpected room. I had no dog food for my dog who is a service dog. All this for nothing I feel oh yea because we're old nd don't move the fastest they called the police again who stayed outside of the door while we finished up. They did not want to be there. They were very nice to us. My son was the hero that night . He took all of our belongings. To our vehicle nd his. I believe she wanted us to be arrested. But neither my husband nor myself are felons or are in trouble in any way. So she didn't get us arrested hahaha joke was on her.Pay attention to your bill ask for a reciept *** they DO NIT GI BC E YOU ONE!!!

It also has cockroaches so bad, they advertise breakfast but have none!

Charge you for washing your sheet linen, our room was not clean when we moved on I had to clean it

Poor treatment from manager

She kicked us out because I had made a few booking errors that required a couple of refunds and my last mistake just needed the dates changed, which she refused to accommodate because it seemed suspicious that it kept happening. I have MS, which affects my executive functioning, and I attempted to explain it to her, which she cut me off and told me it wasnt her problem.

Then, we were sitting in her parking lot, trying to determine what hotel we were going to next, and she came out and told us were not allowed to hangout in her parking lot and gave us 10 minutes to leave before she called the police. She was on some crazy power trip, was extremely rude and we feel discriminated against based on a couple of factors, including race and my disability.

My son and I booked rooms for four nights directly with ESA. The state was horrible as documented with your customer service rep on 10/2.

The rooms were filthy. My room was infested with cockroaches. We couldn't get dishes and silverware till the morning we left because they were dirty. The air conditioners made noises that made it impossible to sleep.

We only spent two nights because we were at a funeral all day long and we couldn't change our reservations that quickly. We shortened our stay from 4 days to two nights and spent two nights in another. I've attached pictures of the roaches that we caught and their word of running around the room and an audio clip of the AC. we stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past.

We will not stay in this hotel ever again. It seems that sex workers are using the hotel. My son's room had, let me say, paraphernalia for sex workers under the bed and empty beer bottles.

We expect a significant credit on the billing. I will wait for your response before I publish The photos.

They stole 4000 dollars in clothes that were left behind

We left 4000 dollars in clothes cause we had gotten kicked out of our room do to a chemical smell mind you they were shampooing the carpets all day that day so we left in a hurry so when we went back to get the clothes the manager said yes we do have them in lost and found but I do not have the keys you have got to come back tomorrow when the day manager is on he has the keys well we went back and he told her to her face I threw those clothes out myself and he let her walk around and see the video of him throwing them out to top it off so I am pissed and would like to be reimbursed for the money cause there company policy is they hold stuff for 90 days that is found in the rooms and it was not even a week so I want to be refunded that's a lot of money

They are supposed to hold items for 90 days, so if they threw your clothing away immediately, that is so wrong and I would be furious. Even though you state you were "kicked out due to a chemical smell" - and I am guessing that would be weed, they still had not right to throw away your clothing.

Unfortunately, when you check into a hotel, you always sign and agree to their terms. Even with lost and found being 90 days, you agreed that any lost and or found items that you leave behind is not the hotels responsibility...its yours. Next time, remember to pack everything up.

I have been trying for several WEEKS to try to resolve an issue with the Extended Stay Sacramento - Vacaville location. This is regarding a Fed-ex package of blood pressure medication that was incorrectly sent to this hotel.

I have been getting the run around from them basically saying they cannot do anything unless there is a manager present. The manager has not been at this hotel since January 15th. My husband has not had his blood pressure medication since that day.

Am I going to have to get an attorney to sue this hotel especially if something happens to my husband due to their negligence? Your IMMEDIATE assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Just an FYI. The Team Leader at the Extended Stay in California did send an email verifying their receipt of the new Fed ex label and envelope from Texas.

The package is to be picked up by Fed ex tomorrow to be shipped to my husband in Missouri. Thank you for your help.

Here’s the thing. Being that Extended Stay did not order, pay and set up delivery, you need to take responsibility.

The pharmacy, FedEx or you needs to find out what to do. If I get a FedEx package misdelivered to me, it’s sitting on the porch until the responsible party deals with it. This can include anything up to you being inconvenienced and picking it up yourself. As far as “he’s out of medicine I will sue Extended Stay if anything happens.”, good luck with that.

Again, for an inconvenience and added cost your doctor can order the med at a local pharmacy and you can pay to pick it up there. It’s sad how stupid you are.

Since you are so smart - perhaps you should get your facts straight before you reply. The incorrect hotel is in California, I live in Texas, my husband is in Missouri.

Due to a federal law & requirements from insurance, doctor will not call in another prescription for a controlled substance. I called hotel every day trying to make arrangements. Original shipper sent via email a new Fed ex label to hotel to put on package. The front desk could not get label because only manager could sign in to the email & she was not there and has not been since January 15th.

Ended up starting over by sending a new envelope with new label via Fed ex spending an extra $180. Hopefully, they will follow instructions.

As far as law suit - what would you do to get their attention? So, who's the stupid one?

Fire alarm going off the entire night

The fire alarm has been going off for at least one month. At first when I checked in, it happened once in about 2/3 days and I thought it an accidental glitch.

A week after, it started going off all the time. I reached out to front desk and they said they had contacted the company amd theyll be out here to check the problem. Well, the fire alarm company came out and diagnosed the problem. It turned out that the company needs to update their alarm gadgets by replacing the old ones.

Unfortunately, it continued to go off sporadically. Last night was the worst, its been going off after every 10 mins or so the entire night. Am drained from lack of sleep, ringing ears, and the noise caused by this alarm. This place has become inhabitable and very unconducive to stay at.

Contacting customer aervice has fell in deaf ears.

I need legal repurcussion to reinstate my health. I cannot handle it anymore.

Manager Angela placed trash in my room that belonged to someone else while I was not at my room. When complained she was disgustingly rude and unprofessional. Which says a lot about their business practices. The manager is as confrontational and ghetto. I will never stay there ever again.
