AWFUL SERVICE OUTRAGEOUS SERVICE FOR A CANADIAN GOVERNMENT SERVICE PROVIDER

This agency does not answer the phone, does not answer emails, does not respect its own set goals of service provision. It needs well over 10 weeks to deliver a birth certificate. it loses applications. Such poor level of service is not acceptable from a modern bureaucracy and one of the richest and most sophisticated country in the world. We applied for a birth certificate by fax as is requested by Express Legal. First nothing happened. My family called to express dismay. Our applications had not been received. Then we reapplied. The service was not provided on various reasons, in each case the request was either sent by email or by phone. Calls in our household were mubled so quickly that nobody could decipher what was asked of us. It took this government service 10 weeks to process a birth certificate.

Express legal helped lose my home

Express Legal in Mission Viejo markets themselves as a resource to help homeowners stop trustee sales on foreclosed properties. I unfortunately agreed to let them handle my home. They said that they had a legal department that would file all necessary paperwork. As the first tactic, they filed a Qualified Written Request which at best is a weak strategic move in stopping a trustee sale and is really only good for one postponement. They assured me that they had a game plan and that the attorneys were very experience at handling and postponing these types of sales. As I asked questions and continually inquired as to what the next move was they replied that they would be filing additional paperwork which would result in a postponement. Come to find out after they informed me that they could not stop the sale of my home, the Qualified Written Request was the only thing that they had filed. I requested to speak to the attorneys on several occasions but they would not release the names or connect me through. They should have filed a law suit against the bank that would have been a more effective means of stopping the sale until I could get an arrangement made with the bank. They have no idea what they are doing and should continue to do wills, divorces and whatever they did before trying to rip people off in claiming to stop trustee sales. I am working on a law suit that will be filed against them soon that includes paperwork to release the law firm they claimed to use. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. USE A REAL ATTORNEY. Let my bad fortune be a lesson to me and help you stay away from companies like this one that are doing nothing but taking advantage of desperate homeowners.
