AI Highlights
  • Took car for oil leak; valve cover gaskets replaced with customer parts; leaks persisted.
  • Final cost quotes high; overall experience poor.

Unbelievable! took car there for a minor oil leak, replaced valve cover gaskets $580 with parts I supplied, leaked a month later.

Told parts were defective and couldn't warrant, understood my mistake, replaced again their parts, $550 still leaking, said now must be cam solenoid seals. One was replaced 4 separate times, and charged for it! Finally told ok no more leaks, get car home 20 minutes later still leaks, take back in, now timing cover & oil cooler another $1,500. This ordeal went on for about 3 months and 8-10 visits.

Had enough, took care to Tires Plus on Aloma (great folks) 2 hrs. later was told there is oil leaking form just about every seal there could be, no charge to diagnose the problem but $5,300 to repair correctly, to confirm took car to Central FL. Lincoln Mercury did a dye monitor test $162, confirmed leaking from every seal possible except the ones that were replaced several times at costs exceeding $1,600, to repair the car correctly two "Certified" mechanics estimate $5,300-$7,000. Had the "Experts" diagnosed "correctly" and/or "honestly" the first time, I would not be writing this review as the car is 13 yrs old and although just a fun car, not worth putting that kind of money into.

Previous radiator repair, car was returned with the bottom skid plate missing, bolts missing from engine cover, chipped paint, soaked carpets, seats and ruined documents inside the car after the "Experts" left the windows down.

Did acknowledge that debacle and tried to rectify with some free work, which they also screwed up, also put a new skid plate on and charged me....huh? If you want your car diagnosed correctly, honestly and fixed properly, this is not the place for you!
