Experimac/UFG are fraud company. Former franchisee is warning the unsuspecting to use caution in dealing with them.

AI Highlights
  • - Former Experimac owner says the franchise defrauded the public; claims Muir and Titus were jailed, and Apple sued to drop Mac, forming Experimax.

I used to own Experimac franchise. The franchise was simply set-up to defraud a naive and unsuspecting public.

Jim Muir and Ray Titus belong to jail. Both of them are combine fraud-stars extra-ordinary. They ruined many marriages and families.

They even claimed that they were approved by Apple Corporation using their Corporate brand name.

They lied, deceived former franchisees. Apple later sued them to drop 'Mac' from their former franchise name Experi/mac, given birth to Experimax..

Loss:
$450000
Cons:
  • Distance you-self from that franchise

Preferred solution: They should settle with their former franchisees and pay penance for their evil. Many of us are still going through garnishment by SBA.

User's recommendation: They are good for nothing, except to defraud. Run away from them.

Experimac contacted me, apologized and then said that the franchisee should fix - of course, I told them that the franchisee was no longer around...they never got back to me.

Original review Sep 06, 2018

I took my MacBook Pro into Experimac to have the battery changed.

In changing the battery they damaged the case by applying too much pressure, but of course, said nothing when I collected my mac. Later I discover the damage and contact the store, they say that they are looking into my issue. They fail to get back to me and when I try to follow them up it appears that the store has closed down.

I have tried contacting Experimac and despite saying that they would do something they have done nothing and avoided contacting me.

I now have a pimple on the keyboard side of my case.

Wishing now that I had gone to the Apple store :(
