Verified ReviewerI can't access my account or unfreeze my account
- - User can't log in to unfreeze credit; verification requires a call.
- - Automated system cycles questions and won’t connect to a person.
I am trying to log in to my account to unfreeze my credit, and it says I must call to verify - however, when I call, I am unable to reach a person. The Experian system just cycles through the same questions and is unable to help me sort my issue - yet, it won't refer me to a person.
What a nightmare! I've tried multiple numbers, but sadly, they all route to the same system that doesn't actually understand or listen to the issue.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered

- - Planning legal action for data privacy breaches.
- - They ignore requests to delete my data and keep sending reports; possible data-law breaches.
I am about to engage legal council and pursue the for breach of practice.
Having required them to remove any and all data regarding myself. They ignore emails and continue to send me reports.
They are in breach of at least 10 data laws that I am aware. I am sure my council will find more.

Can't log in
- - Closed previous account; new account not identified.
- - I can't view credit score or apply for loans.

I can't able to apply any loans in anywhere. Please call me and sort out my problems.
They take your money but dont recognise you!
- - Cannot cancel monthly payments online due to security blocks.
- - Pays £14.99 monthly and warns others to avoid Experian.
So I have an account with Experian which I used over 12 months ago at the time of getting a mortgage. Since then they take my money monthly but EACH and EVERY time I try to log onto their site to cancel the payments I've NEVER been able to do so as they DONT let me past security.
Their system is dire, use someone else or you'll be paying these robbing crooks £14.99 forever. Cancellled atr bank!
Identity
- - Unsolicited loan emails; after applying I was told I am not creditworthy.
- - The case is referred to a credit agency, affecting the credit score.
why should loan companies e.mail me suggesting I take a loan, I fill out the details as requested and then to be told, I am not credit worthy. Following this, it gets referred to a credit agency.
This reflects on my credit score. Why don' t credit agencies refer to the credit agencies. before sending me an e.mail.
This s immoral! and I think these companies should benil taken to task.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution
Data breach consumer
Protect My ID was everything I had hoped would be and the fraud Resolution team was oustanding.
Experian deduct points stating i have more account when don't and report doesn't
- - Experian reports more accounts than I have and misstates my credit history.
- - I am disabled; calls are auto-recorded and they won't speak with me.
experian deduct points stating i have more account when don't and report doesn't
i contacted them and i am disabled all my telephone calls are autorecorded due to short term memory disability. they refuse to speak with me ever again even thou i pay them monthly because i need to keep phoning them about complaint after complaint of things they get wrong.
if i do a single credit application 8 show up they have me staying at this address twice when only once. they wioll not change eithererror. they dropped my score saying i opened more non morgate accounts. i have not and report has same amount of accounts now as did before drop. they told me overdrafts no counted as available credit as show me with no available credit all the time. today they started quoting randome percentages of available credit used on each time i checked but al;l reports say no available credit.
my debt has gone away down and my score has gone down insteadof up. they were rude to me and shown signs on several occasion of being discriminative.
Experian - Credit Report Review from London, London
- - The reviewer accuses Experian of dishonest reporting.
- - They say online registration lures users to profit, even with excellent credit.
Experian consumer credit are professional crooks. They don't provide an honest credit information to lenders about the consumers.
Their reason is to lure you to register with them online, so they can make money out of you.
Even when you have an excellent credit history, they"ll still give you less credit score than you deserve. I dont know how they get away with this crazy dishonest activities.

Experian/Vanquis Rip Off.
- - cosy Experian-Vanquis links cost poor-credit customers; Vanquis pressure for Protect MY ID, with monthly fees and no paperwork.
The cosy relationship between Experian and Vanquis is costing People with a poor credit rating Millions of pounds. When you are accepted by Vanquis via their welcome telephone call, pressure is put on the customer to take out Protect MY ID, owned by Experian, No paperwork is received no signature is obtained, yet Experian deduct a monthly membership fee putting the customer further into debt.
They refuse to repay any payments. Complaining to the SFA is a waste of time.If you have been a victim contact me boblet1943@***.co.uk, we could form a fighting front, together we are strong, alone you are weak.
