Can’t trust Experian to do it’s job
- - Experian was the worst.
- - There were inaccuracies and long hold times; cancellation of the $25/month Premium membership was easy.
Of the three credit reporting agencies Experian was by far the worst. It had the least information about my previous addresses and etc.
yet had several inaccuracies including: a false previous address, incorrect social security number (how did they get the correct data then?!) and incorrect AKA. To straighten out two of the above errors I was on hold for an hour and a half (no exaggeration) only to be told they had to transfer me to right department.... another ten minute wait. This was after I had called the exact number they said to call for my specific problem!
When I was told the excuse “we’re experiencing heavy volume of calls “ I replied: “since this is always the case shouldn’t the company hire more people.”
On a positive note, due to the above I cancelled my $25/mth
Premium membership and that appeared easy....we’ll see next month if they charge me again.
Although, it appeared initially that I was only signing up for $5/mth! Conclusion: undependable and poorly run company
Preferred solution: Upgrade reporting accuracy and hire more phone operators
