I have tried for almost two weeks to get ahold of someone to help me...I've emailed, I've called and either got hung up on or no one answered, chats got unanswered...we're done with them!

Extremely deceitful and zero customer service.
I approved a 'deluxe' travel plan to Morocco leaving Feb.
16. This itinerary had flight dates and times but no airline names. I requested airline names along with other information like the hotels I reviewed from the itinerary that were NOT 4 and 5-star rated hotels. I was assured they were and that I could not change them.
I paid for the trip, but when I received the itinerary, the flight information changed dramatically - an 8-hour layover at JFK - not acceptable. I contacted the salesperson, Michael. Nothing. I contacted customer service via email and telephone.
Hold times were over 45 minutes - all they could do was 'escalate.' They booked us on JetBlue - not an airline I would ever use. The entire experience was horrible. Their customer service was nonexistent; their feeble attempt to 'escalate' produced nothing viable.
I would never use them again, nor would I recommend them. Very deceitful and liars.

On multiple dates and times I was NEVER able to talk to Customer Setvice to cancel my trip on March 17-26, 2025! Using their customer service number and directed to someone "who could help with this cancelation, " after wait times of 1 hour + to 2+ hours NO ONE EVER ANSWERED their customer service line waiting, like myself, for taking care of my cancelation!
Due to onset of recent medical problems affecting mobility, I am unable to meet the walking required in my and my husband's trip to Coastal Cities and Douro Valley in Portugal, March 19-27, 2025. Various attempts beginning the end of February were made to cancel this trip once this became known.
But reaching Exoticca customer service, at times being placed on hold and waiting 1 1/2 - 2hrs for customer rep, who never responded, proved both unsuccessful and VERY frustrating! We need to cancel this tour and needed your help in resolving this issue so a claim to our insurance can be made and help to return the cost of the tour to apply to my medical expenses resulting from recent health problems.

Stranded in Peru, flights cancelled, no further info or assistance
Do not book with this bunch of amateurs regardless, the whole booking process was full of lies & deception. Accommodation not superior as paid for.
We are now stranded in Peru, the Exottica help line is utterly pointless, 5 hours into a request for help, they repeatedly cut the conversation, which means we start the merry go around again. They are leaving it to the airline to resolve, the airline are pointing us to Exottica!
Again DO NOT book with exottica

Not happy
Have humans available to talk with. Was put on hod for over an hour before I was finally able to talk with someone. Once I was able to talk to her she was very good at helping me with my problem.

Airline ticket was basic only. Had to pay $320.00 for carryon. Return call today or will dispute tour charges

We wanted to upgrade our flight but were told we have to upgrade everyone or no one
Which is really annoying since we are not related and if I want to fly business class it shouldnt mean that everyone on the reservation has to fly business
Second we are 3 different families that booked that trip. Why were we grouped into one group is also strange

Wanted to upgrade my flight to business class. The agent said either everyone does the upgrade or nobody.
The system wouldn't let her do it. Very strange.

Written dispute has not been given the curtesy of communication. When called, was told they are “pushing it forward”.
No result or response to my complaint. Stranded at airport for a whole day waiting for the local travel company to make arr. for disrupted travel.

WE PAID FOR SUPERIOR HOTELS OFOREN THIS RESERVATION. HOWEVER, WE HAD ISSUES WITH ALL THREE HOTELS.
I HAD PREVIOUSLY REPORTED THOSE ISSUES, BUT NONE WERE RESOLVED.
AT NH BUENOS AIRES HOTEL - THERE WAS BLACK MOLD IN THE BATHROOM - HEALTH ISSUE
AT PANORAMIC GRAND - THERE WAS NO HOT WATER
AT WINDSOR EXCELSIOR HOTEL - YOUR AGENT MADE AN ERROR IN REGISTERING RESERVATION ON OUR NAMES.
WE WAITED FOR 3 HOURS BEFORE THEY COULD CHECK US IN.
THEREFORE, I AM REQUESTING A REFUND OF $1,200 AS A COMPENSATION. PLEASE ISSUE A CREDIT TO MY VISA CARD, THAT WE USED FOR OUR PAYMENT.

Air France had this kind of reaction
It is not my fault (theirs)
But they made it my problem
They should go to the Disney school of hospitality
They have made a great trip organized by Exoticca at nightmare

Also, i just added an excursion and when i tried to pay it said that only bank transfers are allowed?
Since when? I paid with Credit Card before.

'I called several times to Exoticca Travel in an attempt to notify them my cancellation, but each time, I waited at least 30 minutes to almost an hour, yet nobody answered the calls. The same music played over and over again!
User's recommendation: Don't travel with them!
