First thing is first. I'm sure going in person to this place might produce better results then ordering from another state. With that said, this is a wholesaler who does business all over the US but clearly gives zero *** for customers who don't come in person. They have THE WORST customer service EVER! I have several different wholesalers from all over the US and I have never been treated more poorly in my life. No response to emails, Zero communication about 50% of my order being out of stock, ZERO care given the *** stuff that was sent. 1 piece of coral was nothing but a piece of rock! No coral! The few fish that I actually got are doing fine. But mind you, the majority were not even shipped. I'm guessing they were out of stock but not 1 person ever communicated this. Nothing about their website ever matches the "weekly stock list" that is sent via email. Seems to be a bunch of children running this place!! NEVER AGAIN WILL MY BUSINESS DO BUSINESS HERE.

I have been working with Exotic Sealife for 8+ years. Nobody has gotten the quality that Andrea has been able to get for as long as she has. There are very few wholesalers that bring in the quality that she continues to bring in. Unlike other wholesales, we have never gotten shorted on an order or felt that we didn't get what we paid for. With the WYSIWYG area there is no doubt about what you are getting. I hope this has been helpful to others. I don't know if the negative comments out there are from other wholesalers or people who expect to get more than what they pay for.

Good customer service
I've seen all the reviews but I have never had the issues that you guys are listing? I usually pick up the stuff or have it delivered to my shop. I've always been pretty happy with what I've gotten. Sure, it cant all be ultra stuff but thats the nature of the business. I've always gotten a couple nice pieces to make the shipment worth while. And to be honest, right now in this area there isn't anyone bringing in nearly as good quality. When I want to pick out the really nice stuff I just go in and pick it out myself. Staff is cool, seem a bit overworked but besides that they're helpful. Its really entertaining to watch them guess what things are coming out of the bag. Specials on fridays usually on inverts are pretty great too

Very Pleased with Andrea of Exotic Sealife
I’ve done business with Andrea of Exotic Sealife for two years. I have never had any problem dealing with her. She gets in some of the finest corals available to the trade with fair prices. As far as these outrageous claims from disgruntled, so called customers of Andrea of Exotic Sealife, if they are true stop doing business with her. That is your best recourse. To blast her on here only tends to give her free advertising. Plus, it hurts you much more than you could ever hurt Andrea or her business. Why??? Because you come across as whiner and that makes you lose credibility in my eyes and the many other happy customers Andrea has such as WWC of Orlando. So get over it! Exotic Sealife International - Beware of Andrea Stockhausen
Exotic Sealife International, and more specifically the owner Andrea, is a disgrace to the marine livestock trade. Their livestock is not maintained as properly as it should be, and often results them in becoming diseased or dead within a matter of days. Aside from this, Andrea is extremely rude and sardonic. She ridicules those whom have had a bad experience with her and her company instead of treating her customers courteously; needless to say she has no people skills. She should learn to moderate her responses in order to effectively resolve conflicts instead of always lashing out. She is unprofessional and others should beware of her and her company.

here is a link to ANOTHER pissedconsumer.com complaint section made in regards to the crook Andrea Stockhausen the OWNER of Exotic Sea Life International in Miami!!! BEWARE!! She sent me a shipment of zoanthids that were completely wrecked in a day and did not care to fix her mistake!! I strongly advise that you avoid buying anything from her until she adjusts her business practices. Normally zoas do not die a day after arriving and it looks like I am not the only one who has had issues with her products.
