Absolute GARBAGE!
First thing is first. I'm sure going in person to this place might produce better results then ordering from another state.
With that said, this is a wholesaler who does business all over the US but clearly gives zero *** for customers who don't come in person. They have THE WORST customer service EVER! I have several different wholesalers from all over the US and I have never been treated more poorly in my life. No response to emails, Zero communication about 50% of my order being out of stock, ZERO care given the *** stuff that was sent.
1 piece of coral was nothing but a piece of rock! No coral! The few fish that I actually got are doing fine. But mind you, the majority were not even shipped.
I'm guessing they were out of stock but not 1 person ever communicated this. Nothing about their website ever matches the "weekly stock list" that is sent via email.
Seems to be a bunch of children running this place!! NEVER AGAIN WILL MY BUSINESS DO BUSINESS HERE.

Great Experience
I have been working with Exotic Sealife for 8+ years. Nobody has gotten the quality that Andrea has been able to get for as long as she has.
There are very few wholesalers that bring in the quality that she continues to bring in. Unlike other wholesales, we have never gotten shorted on an order or felt that we didn't get what we paid for. With the WYSIWYG area there is no doubt about what you are getting.
I hope this has been helpful to others. I don't know if the negative comments out there are from other wholesalers or people who expect to get more than what they pay for.

Things change
I've seen all the reviews but I have never had the issues that you guys are listing? I usually pick up the stuff or have it delivered to my shop.
I've always been pretty happy with what I've gotten. Sure, it cant all be ultra stuff but thats the nature of the business. I've always gotten a couple nice pieces to make the shipment worth while.
And to be honest, right now in this area there isn't anyone bringing in nearly as good quality. When I want to pick out the really nice stuff I just go in and pick it out myself.
Staff is cool, seem a bit overworked but besides that they're helpful.
Its really entertaining to watch them guess what things are coming out of the bag. Specials on fridays usually on inverts are pretty great too

I sent money to Andrea of Exotic Sealife and she never sent me the Australian corals I ordered, I lost $3000.00!!!
Dont trust this woman from EXOTIC SEALIFE!
She made promises to ship and I never received a thing!
After talking to other suppliers from Florida, apparently she does this all the time and also talks trash about her competitors, lies, and manipulates her customers and suppliers into only buying and selling to her.
She is a thief and a liar!
She gives a bad name to the marine life suppliers of Florida and cannot be trusted at all.

Very Pleased with Andrea of Exotic Sealife
I’ve done business with Andrea of Exotic Sealife for two years. I have never had any problem dealing with her. She gets in some of the finest corals available to the trade with fair prices.
As far as these outrageous claims from disgruntled, so called customers of Andrea of Exotic Sealife, if they are true stop doing business with her. That is your best recourse. To blast her on here only tends to give her free advertising. Plus, it hurts you much more than you could ever hurt Andrea or her business. Why??? Because you come across as whiner and that makes you lose credibility in my eyes and the many other happy customers Andrea has such as WWC of Orlando.
So get over it! You are not hurting her business. You are hurting yourself.

Absolute thieves!
This woman and her business are absolute garbage!, horrible reputation for stealing money from customers and never paying her suppliers and a perfect example is myself... I delivered several thousand dollars in livestock only to receive a check that would bounce from an account she had closed.
I never retrieved my money, she wont answer my calls, and they wont open their doors to me.
I am in the process of seeking legal action and I advise anyone who deals with them to think twice about continuing business.
Stay away from these people, they are nothing but thieves who steal from others in order to keep their business afloat!
I've heard and experienced nothing but positive reviews about Andrea and her wholesale business. As mentioned, huge retailers, known in the industry buy from her.
I am just a hobbyist, but see her stuff everywhere.
Including majorly published magazines.

Exotic Sealife International - Beware of Andrea Stockhausen
Exotic Sealife International, and more specifically the owner Andrea, is a disgrace to the marine livestock trade. Their livestock is not maintained as properly as it should be, and often results them in becoming diseased or dead within a matter of days.
Aside from this, Andrea is extremely rude and sardonic. She ridicules those whom have had a bad experience with her and her company instead of treating her customers courteously; needless to say she has no people skills.
She should learn to moderate her responses in order to effectively resolve conflicts instead of always lashing out. She is unprofessional and others should beware of her and her company.
She has always been very rude and condescending.

Blatantly send me diseased coral.
First let me start off by saying that dealing with Exotic Sea Life International, more specifically Andrea, has been incredibly unpleasant and disappointing. To see someone so rude and frankly with abhorrent people skills still in business is a testament to what a thief she truly is.
I recently purchased around $1000 dollars in grade a corals only to receive a shipment primarily composed of diseased corals of grade b quality.
When I called Andrea she completely dismissed my complaints even when I supplied her with photographic evidence and besides the fact that the coral were diseased, she had the audacity to send me grade B corals when I was specifically promised only grade A corals. As of now she has completely ignored my calls after my initial complaint and I am currently exploring my legal options in order to persue legal action against her and he company.

Very entertaining read and GREAT FREE ADVERTISING! Thanks to you guys I am being flooded with phone calls and so many new orders, I don’t know what to do with…….So many, in fact, that we just purchased another warehouse to double our holding capacity.
On the other hand, I have to wonder how you guys have so much time on your hands to concoct these fantasies?
And the reason behind your funny stories? Jealousy? Probably. Or is it a marine collector turned squatter, that we had to evict from our home in the Florida Keys? Or a competitor, that our suppliers refuse to deal with? Or a little online/frag swap peddler that wasn’t allowed to cherry pick our best corals? Who knows……..
The little clique that spends so much time posting these nonsense comments obviously have such a low level of intelligence that they completely miss the fact that professional business people are not in the least bit impressed with this kind of childish and unprofessional behavior.
If you are a bonafide retailer, I would like to invite you to visit our facility and look at the beautiful corals we bring in on a weekly basis. If you are a hobbiest, you can purchase our corals from your local store and if you are in the Orlando area, please visit World Wide Corals on Orange Blossom Trail, they have hundreds of our corals in their awesome store for sale.

here is a link to ANOTHER pissedconsumer.com complaint section made in regards to the crook Andrea Stockhausen the OWNER of Exotic Sea Life International in Miami!!! BEWARE!! She sent me a shipment of zoanthids that were completely wrecked in a day and did not care to fix her mistake!!
I strongly advise that you avoid buying anything from her until she adjusts her business practices. Normally zoas do not die a day after arriving and it looks like I am not the only one who has had issues with her products. She refused to even take my calls and basically told me that I was on my own and that it was not her problem!!

I've been buying from Andrea for years and she has the best corals down here in Miami. There's no one that comes close to her in price or quality.Search exotic sealife on Reefbuilders for pictures of some of the hot stuff she brings in.
Andrea is great to do business with and everyone here that's talking bad about her is hating because they can't buy from her.

Obviously the people still buying from this joke of a "wholesaler" are only doing so out of necessity because no one is really bringing in corals in the area that are decent, sure andrea has quality contacts overseas but what good are the corals you bring if you don't know how to keep them alive?
You basically have to show up the day of or at the latest the day after shipment is received by her because if not those beautiful corals turn into garbage and maybe she will let you pick through her leftovers after letting her "favorites" come and cherry pick the good stuff.
She is rude, talks nothing but garbage about everyone around her, she honestly has no clue how to keep livestock alive for anything longer than a few days.
Her attempts at monopolizing the industry down here have earned her more enemies than all the infamous personalities in the history of the aquarium trade combined.
It should be considered a crime for her to deal in corals or have any rights to handle any kind of live animal for that matter because the truth is that in her pursuit of money, the health of her livestock is the least of her concerns and is to be considered marine life genocide.
Just take a look in her sumps, her biological filtration consists of thousands of corals skeletons she has basically murdered
